Restaurante pescador jeri — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Acaraú

Unfortunately this turn out to be an unpleasant night. After researching the many choices at Jeri, we decided to go to O Pescador due to the ambiance, reviews and popularity ( we walked past a few times on previous nights). After an hour, and complaining, we finally received a tiny cold serving of bruschetta. Then the waiter needed to confirm our mains order again and an hour later we had enough and wanted to leave. Other tables looked unhappy and the kitchen was a disaster. Our waiter, Alan, was kind and apologetic. He did his job really well. Claudia, the manager explained their technology issues and staff shortage in the kitchen. She was also helping in the kitchen so we could see they were trying. When our mains finally arrived they were underwhelming for the price you pay. Also, as a side note, waiters eating hot chips behind the till while working and one waiters mobile phone ringing all night in his pocket were also unprofessional.

If you are having problems on the night, simply stop taking more tables and orders and focus on the ones who have been waiting for 2 hours. We received a discount on our final bill, but a very disappointing night to what was supposed to be a special evening out for our family. There are plenty of incredible restaurants in Jeri, unfortunately this wasn’t one of them for us...

We chose this restaurant after walking past it on several nights. Starters and music was good. The waiter was kind, and did his job well.

The problem was a manager (according to our observations), that was stressed walking around the restaurant and treating the waiters badly ( spoke to them very impolitely and micromanaged). The atmosphere was tense in a bad way, and we felt bad for the staff in and outside the kitchen. The mains were bad, there is no other way to say it. My salad was warm lettuce, carrots, tomato and shrimps, and swimming in water, with 0 dressings, and our moqueca had absolutely zero taste… but still the worse of it was the...

Our experience at Pescador was absolutely unacceptable. We made our order more than six times, yet after waiting for an hour, our drinks - just some bottled beers and still water - never arrived. To make matters worse, only a few of our starters came out, with more than half of them missing.

After such a long wait with no proper service, we decided to cut our dinner short. We ended up paying for the partial order of starters and left, incredibly disappointed.
