Buda Beach Búzios — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Cabo Frio

I came here before and had a good time. However, the 2nd time I came it was a bad experience. I am allergic to certain Alchol and get bad hangovers if I drink certain kinds. The 1st time they understood this and made the simple switch of changing the Alchol in the cocktail for one that I could drink. This time however, they refused to make a simple change to account for my allergy. Even if I could pay slightly more to have what works for my body. Even after talking to a manger they refused. It’s a simple request to have the only kind of liquor that I drink to my cocktail. Especially at a nice restaurant it’s a simple request to honor. If you have any allergies or diet restrictions I would not recommend coming here because they will only make it exactly as they have with no exceptions even for allergies. I’ve never had this issue at a restaurant which is why I am leaving a review. The ambiance is nice however the customer service even from mangers is poor. I would not recommend coming and suggest going somewhere...

Just the fact that they serve Italian pizza, pasta, risottos, Japanese sushi, Brazilian meat and fish etc should have been warning sign enough honestly. But on top of that they don’t serve wine on the glass nor chopp and took a 2$ charge for each guest for the live music…also a confusing system with a card which they charge and apply all orders to and then you show that when paying you bill..? All these minor points just tell me that this tourist place and nothing else, however;

Food: Had pizza and burger, it was better than ok. The pizza dough was good, however the topping was really boring I must say. The burger was ok even if a bit weird with egg etc.

Service: Nothing to complain about, he was nice even if he noticed our scepticism.

Atmosphere: Nice with live music and nice location by the water - but all the small things mentioned above doesn’t give a great...

You really do this restaurant for the 3 buda for the picture. There's really nothing else good besides that.

Pro: Take picture and see why so many good comments. Cons: The guy waiter was rude with altitude and only hide and talk to his coworker. Once he received the order he disappeared. Another friendly white Argentina guy smile and service our food and check. You might as well fired him if he had to tell the other guy to do check. Foods was really not good. It has no taste and sushi was serve without enough Wasabi. I feel like order Japanese takeout in NYC which would be better.
