UPDATE: we got salmonella infection from eating here. Resulted in a trip to the hospital.

Must’ve been cross contamination because my partner had the vegan combo.

They also put cream cheese for decoration on the vegan plate?

We had the sushi here. My company had the vegan sushi option which tastes like nothing and the rice was falling apart and had no trace of vinegar? same goes for the rice in mine, although the whole dish was very off putting and I was scared i was going to be on the toilet for the rest of my vacation. the fish smelled like it had been rotting. when i notified our waiter who did a good job in his own right… they changed it to other pieces of sushi but the quality here simply sucks. Tasteless fish and rice. DO NOT ENTER

I really have a hard time seeing all the positive reviews bc no way people have standards this low. the place is a tourist trap. they charge waaay too much for simple where a tablet is supposed to handle the job. Also they don’t tell you they charge 15 per person for a guy playing music.

We left completely mind blown by our bill and the fact that this place has more than four stars is an abomination. If I could go back in time I would stop myself from entering this place.

Sushi Bardot in Buzios promised a high-quality sushi experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. While the sushi itself wasn't bad, it was overpriced for what it offered, especially considering its reputation.

However, the service was truly disappointing. We waited an incredibly long time for our food, which is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. To make matters worse, our order was served in the wrong sequence, with appetizers arriving way long after the main course. When we complained, the staff initially dismissed our concerns, only to eventually have the manager agree to cancel the unwanted items after much persistence and even more wait.

The overall atmosphere was far from welcoming, with the staff appearing disinterested and inattentive. It's clear that Sushi Bardot is more focused on catering to tourists than providing a quality dining experience. Given the numerous other excellent restaurants in Buzios, we strongly advise avoiding this...

The food and atmosphere were good. The restaurant is located in a street with many restaurants and bars so it’s quite nice, plus it’s located right next to the water.

Despite the complements above, I must call out on the service. We went in a group of 8, all choosing the all you can eat, and every time we placed an order, it took long, and they never delivered everything that was ordered. Our server explained that they were short staffed, which explains the delay, however, it’s no excuse to not deliver the entire order. We had more sake than sushi this night, so my experience was not good.
