WOW! What an amazing place to have found while stopping in to eat on the drive to Aquidauana. Everything was excellent; the service, the food, the atmosphere. Big portions of honestly delicious pesto and pizza and salad. Everything was served hot and fresh. The waiters were very patient with us not speaking Portuguese too. Today was our first time to visit Cantina Romana and we loved it. The place is beautiful, with an old world yet posh feel to it. There is a wall of pictures of famous personalities who have dined there. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the portions are big. We were told that most dishes could feed at least 2 people and that is the truth. My family will definitely be going back to...

By far the best pasta in town. They have been around since late 1970's and the recipes taste the same since the place was run by old mamma, who used to come to every table asking if the food was to their satisfaction.
