Restaurante Caiçara — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Florianópolis

Had the ‘buffet livre’. During the meal some of the food was taken away because they appeared to be cleaning the area for closing (it was 2:30, they close at 3?) which for my girlfriend, as a vegetarian, meant she had less options to choose from; we paid for everything we saw initially, had we known food would be removed from the counters we wouldn’t have chosen Caiçara. Nobody told us that to go back for extra carne options was at further cost, nor is there a sign at the front of the restaurant suggesting this, so I was surprised to see an additional cost on my bill, which when disputed was met with an unfriendly member of staff who was stood using her mobile phone at the counter whilst we waited to pay/question the price.

During the meal I returned to the counter for more food and asked one of the staff if there was more chicken, she said there was, so i waited. After some time I then asked another member of staff if the chicken would be coming out any time soon, she said there wasn’t any left despite there being a visible basket-full in the kitchen. After asking the first member of staff again if I could please have some more chicken it was eventually delivered to the counter, 2 metres from the kitchen. When I later returned to the BUFFET, I was met with strange looks when taking more of the chicken. Lembra aqueles " botecos apertadinhos de São Paulo"! O local já têm 30 anos de existência e a comidinha é bem caseirinha. Comi um pedaço de carne de panela que lembrou a da minha falecida bisavó. O local é limpo e o serviço é de buffet. Minha dica é chegar cedo pois percebi que a grande parte da vizinhança faz suas refeições no local e assim fica apertado. A equipe é atenciosa . Abre no jantar. Aos domingos é a única opção de buffet no centro. Muitis acham caro, mas como a comida é bem fresquinha e com jeito de vovô , pra mim foi um de bom custo x benefício . Vale...

A comida boa, o atendimento foi horrivel estavamos terminando de comer e os funcionários jogaram em nossos pés água com produto. Se estavamos ali no fim de expediente ok, mas no minimo esperarmos nos sair. Achei desagradável. A sorte que não manchou minha roupa ou me causou alguma alergia. O responsavel vendo e nem ai.
