I recently had the opportunity to dine at Juanita, and I was blown away by the food and the overall experience. Eu diria que é obrigatório a qualquer pessoa que venha para Bonito, ter pelo menos uma refeição nesse restaurante, porque a experiência é realmente incrível, mas vamos por partes.

Começando pela chegada. Esse é um restaurante famoso da região, muitos turistas (como eu) ouvem feedbacks positivos e querem ir lá, então já se prepare para uma fila longa, e uma espera aproximada de 1 hora, pois não é o tipo de local que você come e vai embora. É bonito, aconchegante, e mesmo depois de comer, você vai querer ficar para bater um papo. O ideal mesmo, é se organizar para chegar cedo e evitar entrar na lista de espera.

O restaurante é bem espaçoso, tendo uma área interna, dentro da casa, e uma área externa, descoberta, que foi onde fiquei, e se possível, recomendo que fique também nas noites mais quentes (o que é difícil não ter em Bonito), para sentir a brisa do vento e dar aquela boa refrescada natural. Na parte interna, eles ainda contam com uma área para tirar foto, com o logotipo deles na parede, e um balanço redondo para se sentar na frente.

Agora falando do cardápio, não é enorme, mas também não é enxuto. Você vai encontrar uma variedade interessante de petiscos, pratos para adultos e crianças, e bebidas alcoólicas e não-alcoólicas. De entrada, pedi uma pequena porção de jacaré para experimentar, junto com uma caipirinha (com vodka) de morango. A casa estava totalmente cheia, pensei que o pedido fosse demorar, mas em menos de meia hora já estavam trazendo o prato de entrada. Quanto as bebidas, levaram em média de 5 a 10 minutos para fazerem e levarem até a mesa.

Como estava acompanhado, optei por pedir um prato que, pelo aviso deles, servem duas pessoas, mas eu digo tranquilamente que uma terceira e, talvez, uma quarta, poderia preencher esse espaço também. Dos diversos pratos que eles servem, boa parte são típicos da região, contando com peixes de água doce, ingredientes locais e modos de preparo diferentes, mas vendo fotos antes de ir ao restaurante, fiquei interessado no filé a parmegiana, que foi o prato que pedi. De acompanhamento, trouxeram arroz, farofa, e batata frita. Confesso que minha namorada e eu não conseguimos comer tudo sozinhos, mas cada mordida valeu a pena.

Sobre os funcionários e a recepção que tivemos do início ao fim, posso garantir que é uma das coisas que mais achei atrativo ali. Eu levo muito em consideração o tratamento dos funcionários com os clientes, e nesse estabelecimento a nota é 10 de 10 em todos os aspectos. Fomos atendidos pelo Alex durante a nossa refeição, que nos tratou com muito respeito e demonstrou o cuidado em querer trazer a melhor experiência para nós.
