When I arrived, I overheard the supercisor yelling at his staff. Not a great first impression. From that point on, the waitress would only give me 1-word responses, and did her best to pretend I wasn't there. Food was slightly overpriced at 30R for a little bit of chopped steak and some rice, and not a lot of it. Upon paying the bill, the garçon was lile "hey, let me tell you how this works, okay?" As if I was some kind of knob. "You will pay for your food and drink, AND the service fee". What service fee? I didn't know there was a service fee? What mysterious service are you talking about, anyway? All I receieved was food from the kitchen of a bunch of dismissive adults with tbe demeanors of teenagers. It seemed to me like this restauraunt has a toxic work environment because the supervisor seeemed to be condescending to some of his employees. Or, the waiters feel like because they work on a beach they are entitled to not treat customers with respect.

Hidden Gem by the Lake 🥰

What a fantastic little spot by the lake! This small, cozy place surprised me with its delicious, fresh seafood and meat—everything tasted like it was just caught or grilled to perfection. The shrimp was especially outstanding, full of flavor and cooked just right.

The portions were very generous, definitely great value for the price, which was very reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. The Caipirinha was one of the best I’ve had—strong, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. For dessert, the açaí was a hit—smooth, rich, and a great way to end the meal. 😋

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the people were super friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a casual but tasty meal with a beautiful lakeside view, this place is a must-visit. 👏

Half of the menu was not available, we finally chose an appetizer and then we were told it’s not working out. Food took forever and it was a blah flavor. I ordered a burger and the “cheese” was squeezed out of a tube disgusting sauce. My husband had risotto. They forgot the drinks. Then they told us they don’t have a cachaca for the caipirinhas we ordered. The whole experience...
