We ordered the Picanha Completa, and all dishes were delicious. The thinly cut picanha tasted perfectly salty and fatty. Being across from the beach and simply decorated, the atmosphere was also good. The service, however, was not great. Servers at Barra da Tijuca are normally friendly and attentive. Our server, Antonio (according to the bill), was apathetic. The restaurant was not busy, but our server left us seated ready to order so he could loudly talk about last night’s game with a man outside the restaurant, then he finally took our order and disappeared. I came here because I walked past it yesterday and saw the quality of food it sells. It was cheap and spectacular and since it is around the corner from my hotel I will return. The staff were tremendous, the view of the beach is pretty, the vibe and look is amazing. I got the steak and chips, very delicious. I have to give 10/10 to the staff too who were supreme. I ate in the garden because it’s so nice here on a night time. Very safe and beautiful area of Rio so I would fully recommend. Much love for this restaurant...

Great location. Right across the street from the beach. Great food. Lots of delicious options to choose from. We came here a couple of times while staying in a nearby hotel. We walked to the restaurant and hung out at the beach. I got the grilled salmon. It came with a kind of cheesy rice and I think yuca fries. My husband had the steak with fries.
