Korean here. Visiting from Los Angeles/New York (both strong Korean food scenes)
I ordered jajangmyun and in short it was good. Authentic, yes. The danmuji (pickled radish) that came with it? Noooo.. noo.. nao bom. It wasn’t bad - it was just wrong
Saw at least two other korean people tables if you need more confirmation
Service was not unfriendly but certainly not friendly either. They sort of just stood there and watched me when I walked in and I just seated myself since the restaurant was empty when I walked in. Also, strange thing: They brought over the food on a tray - no utensils or sides. Server went back to grab a pair of chopsticks and an empty cup (no water jug) - both of which were already set up by the kitchen - while I sat there with my bowl of noodles And then the server went back to pick up the radish and onion. When all of them were ready at the same time and could easily have fit on the tray? Not a complaint but just a strange...
Read moreVery nice jajjangmyeon and fried mandu, the place is clean and nice. Right after arrived the waiter brought a side of takuan(yellow radish) and onion with jajjang sauce for dipping. The waiter was very nice and asked if i wanted to charge my phone in the cashier table because the outlet near my table wasn't working. If you're going to eat only the jajjangmyeon it's a nice deal at 26 reais (52 reais if alone) for two people. Small portion of mandu were about 29 reais with pieces. But the side dishes can get a bit expensive if you are not eating...
Vale a pena experimentar? Vale!!!
