Went on line with American Airlines site to use my points to book a room for one night near the airport in Grarulhos ( São Paulo) , Brazil. |We saw this hotel was listed a luxury hotel, No way this was luxury. In fact it's very filthy and the internet isn't safe. The rooms smell like cigarette smoke and mold. . We had to complain and was moved to another room. At least the smell wasn't as bad. The staff didn't seem to care what so ever. This property should be removed form all internet site and millage programs. The area isn't safe to walk around as well . The bed was dreadful . The Curtin and drapes looks like they never bee cleaned or replaced. |Don't rely on the reviews. I would rate this property as a one star.|The only good thing I can say a few of the front desk staff spoke English. The restaurant was awful. |We come to Brazil often and would never stay here again. This property should be either torn have a major remodel . Read moreIf I could put 0 stars, I would. These people should be ashamed to own a hotel like this. We stayed for one night in room 411. We are a family with a young daughter. After a long flight, we were exhausted, and so disappointed to find a very small, dirty room. The floor made our feet black! I didn't even want to pull out my daughter's cute little bunny slippers on that disgusting floor. I used a paper towel in the bathroom to wipe the bathroom counter and it was black. There was somebody's long hair left in the drain. Then in the morning, we ran out of toilet paper. We called the front desk 3x for toilet paper. My husband had to run to the store to buy some, causing us to take a later shuttle to the airport and therefore missing our rental car pick up. The icing on the cake, we found lice in my daughter's hair! She's never had lice before, so she was distraught.
There is a free shuttle to the airport and free breakfast in the morning. While those things were nice, they did not make us feel any better about the condition of the room and the lack of service. If I were you, I would choose a...
Read moreMissed my flight connection and was placed on this hotel to stay overnight by Latam.||Latam gives Taxi, Dinner and Breakfast voucher as lunch was included in the stay.||Arriving at 2:00 AM, the Hotel is not able to supply you dinner and instead gives you the below paper bag (see photo), I had to wait 40 min to receive.||Going down for breakfast at 10:30 AM, was amazed on seeing staff already organizing lunch.||The Hotel does not supply a do not disturb tag and throughout the day, I was woken twice by Chambermaids nonsense asking if I needed anything, aside for hearing them shouting out loud to each other in the corridors throughout the day.||Got call twice by the Reception asking what time I wanted to check out and at the second time I told I would leave immediately since I never had stayed on such an awful place where customer privacy, resting and general care is not supply.||It clearly shows staff gets no training and those hired there have no manners at all....
