We have been to multiple Coco Bambu locations in Brazil. They never seem to have the caipicoco frozen drink, not sure why this is on the menu if they never have it? this is the 3rd location that didn't have it.
This location was either understaffed or the staff is not well trained or they are working long hours. For example, the waiter took off in the middle of me placing the drink order! And we had to flag them down multiple times to get any service... We ordered french fries, they came out pretty bland, inconsistent, and toppings were dry. We had to ask twice for condiments (ketchup, mayo, etc).
We decided not to order main courses because we didn't want to put up with the service and food issues. The view and the ambiance are great. But again, the staff and food left something to be desired at...

Across the road from the beach; would be a great view but currently marred by the road construction works outside. Lovely surroundings and ambience. Service was friendly, but a little slow.
My starter was enormous, carne-de-sol paçoca; apparently served as street food across Brazil. A cured, salted beef filling, typical of this region. Very tasty but also very filling.
The restaurant is renowned for seafood; shrimps in particular. My main dish was amazing but the portions, even though for two to share, were too big for my appetite!

Read morePopping up on Trip advisor as a good restaurant to go to with kids, we were not disappointed. A 15 minute walk, parallel to the beach gave us a beautiful view of the sunset as well as nightlife. The restaurant itself is huge offering ample space inside and out. Outside on the verandah, they offer live music and a view of the ocean. We were also able to see the fun kids train go by! Food options were plentiful and delicious. We were able to find many choices for the food allergies in our family. The children were entertained, the food was delicious, especially the shrimp, and the drinks...
