Ateliê Cafeteria — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Angra dos Reis

We went here twice. The first time we simply struggled talking to any waiter and ordering our drinks but it was the second time that really motivated us leaving a bad review. We reached the place and saw a free spot where the table had leftovers from the previous customers and we asked one of the waitresses if we could sit there. The answer was yes and therefore we took our seats. After more or less 10 minutes the same waitress that allowed us to sit at the "leftovers table" approached us asking if the leftovers on the table were ours and while we told her that no, they were not, we also brought up that we were ready to order. To this very interaction the waitress answered with "Calma" so to "calm down". I swear we were anything but pushy and I strongly believe that a customer should never be answered like that. Funny enough we did keep calm and waited 50 minutes for food that never arrived and decided to leave. While we were paying at the counter the barman decided to offer us the only thing we got during that 1h which was a beer. I think the bar is nice and not all the workers there are rude or disrespectful but unfortunately we couldn't really see that. If I could give 0 stars I would. We stopped here for a late lunch and sat at a lovely table on the beach. The menu looked promising with lots of vegetarian options for my partner. When ordering it was then apparent half the items were not available so in the end we ordered 2 juices, a mushroom omelette and a tuna wrap. we waited 50 minutes and still not even our drinks had come. We spoke to several members of staff who just kept saying ‘it’s coming’ and basically ignoring us. Eventually one member of staff seemed to realise how ridiculous this was (and we were about to walk out) and everything arrived. The food was beyond disappointing - the tuna wrap was close to resembling cat food, with a ‘side of roasted potatoes’ - actually about 1/2 a potato cut into tiny pieces, undercooked and cold. My partners omelette was the more expensive ‘seasonal mushrooms’ omelette - which was tinned mushrooms. Our juices were watery, and not the fresh juice we would expect - when paying we saw the bartender making the ‘fresh juice’ - cartons of mango juice with a few chunks of fresh mango…. Complete waste of money all in all. Made worse by them putting service charge on the bill, for what genuinely is the worst service we’ve ever experienced in...

Worst meal in Brazil. Came here starving after a hike wanted a simple veggie wrap, and a smoothie. Server took my order then I never saw her again, waited 30mins for my smoothie that later got delivered to the wrong table and the guests asked if it was mine after it had been melting in the sun. I then waited a whole hour for my veggie wrap that never came, when I asked my server she said she would check on it and never came back!! I finally waved down another server who I told I had waited over an hour for my veg wrap he left went to the kitchen and brought me a chicken wrap. I ate some of it cause I was starving but it was gross and when I informed him it was the wrong thing, he struggled and didn’t apologize. I was made to pay my full bill even though nothing I got was what I even ordered let alone a waste of 2 hours. GO ANYWHERE ELSE, worst restaurant...
