O Beco da USP — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

I've had a wonderful time here, in the lovely urban outdoors of São Paulo and on the former street that forms the terrace of this bar.

I appreciated the Xeque Mate on the menu, and we tried the food (which was pretty great).

As with many brazilian bars, O Beco da USP offered something special that can hardly be replicated in most parts of Europe, and supports the reasons why Brasil is one of the places to live on this planet, in terms of happiness, culture, food and the wonderful social life you can have with your family and friends.

Your typical universitary pub. Service is good, but the beer seems to never be as cold as it should be. This place also has a wide selection of food. While portion sizes are decent, the price is a little steep for your typical student clientele. It can get noisy inside and very full, but all in all it's a...

Bom ambiente e público universitário. Em compensação, atendimento horrível! SEMPRE, não tem uma vez que tentam nos passar a perna nesse lugar. Da última vez aumentaram R$20 inexistentes na nossa conta e os funcionários não estão nem aí com a imagem que estão passando a quem frequenta, é uma pena.

O Beco tem tudo pra ser um lugar perfeito, mas ao que tudo indica, estão preocupado apenas com o dinheiro que tiram dos outros, ou tentam tirar.

Uma dica pra quem for: peguem a comanda, somem tudo o que consumiram e olhem a maquininha antes de passar o cartão, pq se não, eles facilmente passarão um valor a mais. Falo isso porque não foi a primeira, e sinto que nem será a ultima vez. Palhaçada.

Os produtos são bons, nada fora do padrão SP, mas o atendimento pesa demais e acaba saindo caro a conta (não ironicamente). E sabe o pior? Vocês fazem essa palhaçada e ainda tem a cara de pau de cobrarem taxa de serviço? Pelo amor!...
