We discovered this place on TikTok and, once again, I am convinced that social networks shouldn’t be trusted blindly. The place is Instagrammable, but that’s where the good things end. You are greeted by a grumpy lady who can’t even make a simple recommendation. You can’t pay with a card, instead, you have to transfer money via Revolut—I mean, who does that? You claim to be a good spot, yet you don’t have a card terminal… someone might be dodging taxes… And the biggest disappointment were the cinnamon rolls, which were just beyond criticism. Extremely dry, as if they were made several days ago, falsely claiming there was cream, which had dried out on top of them… Very unpleasant to taste. I do not recommend this place, there are so many other good ones that this one just isn’t worth your time. But give people something that costs 10 leva and looks good on Instagram, and it doesn’t matter if it tastes good or not, they will be there, which is quite sad. There is neither heart nor soul in this place!

Honestly one of the best bakeries I’ve been to. I’ve read some of the low rated reviews, not sure what these other people are talking about. Most are just complaining about the price. Yes, prices are a bit higher for Bulgarian standards… but the pastries are amazing. They all looked so good that I got three different pastries, and all were incredibly good. Coffee is decent, nothing impressive but also nothing I could complain about. The staff all seem to speak very good native English, are friendly, and give good recommendations. They seem to cater to the international community. If you are looking for a great pastry with some good coffee and don’t mind spending a bit more money than your average Bulgarian shops, then I highly recommend this place.

Definitely not worthing the price for the quality. We just went for our Sunday brunch and was really excited to try for first time this so viral place - Tandir bakehouse, but unfortunately we got disappointed. The prosciutto sandwich was with very hard bread, it seemed to be old. We got the double chocolate cube croissant, and this croissant was full filled with very awful “chocolate” cream. I just removed the whole cream, and ate only the outside part of the “cube” croissant, of course with all my respect to the food and the cost of it I don’t agree to throw it out. Both the cube and the cronut croissant was also hard and seemed to be older, at least we enjoyed the tiramisu taste of the cronut. We won’t make our second time here, unfortunately.

I was really excited to visit this new cafe/bakery after discovering it online. As a pastry lover, I was intrigued by their variety of croissants, danishes, and cronuts. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.

I tried two different pastries, and both were mediocre at best. They lacked the buttery, flaky texture that makes a great pastry, leaving me to wonder if they use pre-made dough with cheap oils instead of making them from scratch. The taste was disappointingly similar to mass-produced pastries you’d find in a store like Lidl.

For the same price, you can get high-quality, freshly made croissants at Savi—highly recommend going there instead if you're looking for authentic, delicious pastries. Sadly, this place feels like it’s missing the mark. Perhaps their bakers could benefit from refining their craft. Overall, a...
