We discovered this place on TikTok and, once again, I am convinced that social networks shouldn’t be trusted blindly. The place is Instagrammable, but that’s where the good things end. You are greeted by a grumpy lady who can’t even make a simple recommendation. You can’t pay with a card, instead, you have to transfer money via Revolut—I mean, who does that? You claim to be a good spot, yet you don’t have a card terminal… someone might be dodging taxes… And the biggest disappointment were the cinnamon rolls, which were just beyond criticism. Extremely dry, as if they were made several days ago, falsely claiming there was cream, which had dried out on top of them… Very unpleasant to taste. I do not recommend this place, there are so many other good ones that this one just isn’t worth your time. I’ve read some of the low rated reviews, not sure what these other people are talking about. Most are just complaining about the price. Yes, prices are a bit higher for Bulgarian standards… but the pastries are amazing. They all looked so good that I got three different pastries, and all were incredibly good.
Coffee is decent, nothing impressive but also nothing I could complain about.
The staff all seem to speak very good native English, are friendly, and give good recommendations. They seem to cater to the international community.
If you are looking for a great pastry with some good coffee and don’t mind spending a bit more money than your average Bulgarian shops, then I highly...
