Cozy little restaurant. Nice selections on menu. I had high hopes that went unfulfilled. I had the fuitti di mare. The pasta was overcooked, wet and cut? Who cuts pasta. And it was oily with little arrabbiata, or marinara sauce. I couldn’t tell. There were a couple of mussels and tiny clams and one salted shrimp. I asked for tagliatelle instead of spaghetti and I asked for it fra diavlo, but without the arrabbiata to balance it was overspiced. Even if I wanted to finish it, I couldn’t. The pasta was cut up and it became more of a noodle soup bowl, Impossible to twirl with a fork. The Caesar salad was lite, barely any parm, anchovies or croutons or bacon. Also tried the pesto and pizza. Pizza was flat, little cheese or taste, flavorless pesto. The tiramisu was pretty good as was the strawberry sorbet. House wine was ok. Read moreI’m thoroughly disappointed and offended with the way I was treated.
It is completely unprofessional, irresponsible and disrespectful to leave your RESERVED guests waiting over 20 minutes past reserved time, and still not get a table.
I hope you can muster some common sense and do everyone a favor next time by being transparent about your availability.

20 minutes in, and we didn’t get even a glass of water. Think about that. What a shame. My friends, family, and I will never step foot here in the future. Thank you for...
Read moreWe checked out the new Italian restaurant, La Volpaia, in Beoung Keng Kang area. The ambience is cosy and romantic, with white linens, art, and warm lights. For the main course, I ordered the ravioli stuffed with mushrooms, sage, butter sauce, and truffle oil. The best mushroom ravioli I've ever tasted. My companion had the lasagna, which was hearty, with layers of flat pasta, meat sauce, and cheese topping. Both dishes were impressive!
For dessert, we shared a slice of decadent tiramisu, a coffee-soaked cake layered with mascarpone and chocolate. Throughout the meal, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was cozy yet polished.
With high-quality ingredients and a menu of Italian favourites, La Volpaia is the perfect place for anyone craving authentic...
