Clean and a variety of Japanese food to choose from.
First impression, the place is very neat and peaceful. It gives off a clean and fresh environment vibe. You can choose to sit at the counter or at tables. We chose to sit at the counter since it’s more enjoyable to see the chefs prepare your food.
The food was fresh and tasty, as for the presentation was pleasing for the eyes. Honestly I had a hard time choosing because there are endless options of sushi, to rolls, hotpot, rice clay pot, omakase, etc, to choose! Seafood Kobore Sushi was very pretty and enjoyable😁
For dessert we got sweet shrimp ice cream and panna cotta. I was intrigued with the shrimp as an icecream. The ice cream was sweet, smells of dried shrimps, tasted like sweet dessert with hints of soft saltiness. Now on the Panna Cotta, I loved it so much I ordered 2 of them!
Price is acceptable for the environment, quality of food, and service that you’re getting. Our server was very patient and attentive as we picked our orders.
🥹 What can be improved: for me is that they didn’t give out free miso soup for us as appetizers. This was the first time for me to go to a Japanese place without being served soup. Also the meats we were a bit less fresh than the seafood. I heard that it’s because their meats are shipped from Japan so it needs to be frozen.
✨ Tip: There are many ways for you to get free sushi, drink, and dessert by joining their group chats on different platforms.
🦐 Omakase sushi set options: $26.80 & $36.80 (note that all prices on the menu are before tax. 10% VAT will be added on top later)

Read moreThe shrimp ramen is delicious! from my friends. Then I decided to have lunch there. Surprisingly, the interior extends far back from the storefront, with private rooms available. Although I didn't go to the second floor, the private rooms [8-person tables] on the ground floor are very private and seem suitable for family gatherings or business meals. The decor is very stylish, and it might be described as Japanese modern. This time, we ordered from the lunch menu, including eel kabayaki, shrimp ramen set, and seafood bowl set for the family. First, we tried the eel kabayaki. I was amazed by how quickly it was served, around 5 minutes. Personally, I wished it had been a bit warmer [freshly grilled]. It's recommended for those who like fatty meat. The main dish, the seafood bowl, was visually delightful. I love the variety of dishes and combinations that you can't see in this country. The rice in the seafood bowl was a bit dry, and I felt there was quite a lot of rice compared to the ingredients. The shrimp ramen had a taste to my liking. Contrary to the menu photo, the bowl was large, but it was just the right amount. I did put 4 stars right now, it will be 5 quickly with a littel fix. Overall, it was quality beyond the price. I look forward to trying a different dish next time. *After paying, the staff asked for feedback, which was...
Read moreEbinosekai is a solid Japanese restaurant with a clear focus on shrimp and prawns. I sampled a variety, including their extra-large rendition, which, unfortunately, was frozen. Everything else was fairly fresh, and the atmosphere was enjoyable, though the restaurant itself feels a bit aged and neglected.
For what we ordered, $68 for a date night was reasonable, but the experience lacked something that would make me return regularly. The potential is there, but they didn’t fully deliver this time. Hopefully, on my next visit, they completely win me over and earn a spot in my regular rotation.
That said, there were no major missteps, so they still get a 5/5 star rating. Looking forward to seeing what they can do on a...
