Unfortunately, while one year ago this was a great place, like so many others after a while the service becomes the same as any other... then, as like this place the service becomes so bad you just don't want to go back.
Over the last 2 months every single time I have visited the staff have "forgotten" items from the order. Sometimes they suddenly remember as you ask for the bill to leave and hurriedly bring food to the table you wanted 45 minutes before. Sometimes they just don't bother.
Today was no different and the staff member, despite repeating the order back to me at the table insisted that we had never ordered the three items we said were missing before returning to his conversation with his friend or whatever was more interesting than working.
The staff now seem to prefer hanging around the counter playing with and talking to each other than serving customers and when told about problems just offer the same repetitious "oh, sorry" or "oh, he forget" or the best laughing at you and telling you "oh, maybe you say wrong". These excuses and b/s platitudes are always followed by 4 or 5 members of staff crowding around to view the show all standing there with vacant expressions and open-mouthed while you try and pay your bill and get out.
With so many other coffee and food shops in the city and a new one just meters away from Coffee Culture offering the same food, the same coffee but better service I won't be running back to this place or recommending it to anyone...
Β Β Β Read moreA friendly coffee shop near the Russian Hospital area, Coffee Culture features warm smiles and not so expensive prices.
I ordered a Chocolate Frappe and like most drinks, it was just under $3. Not cheap, to be sure, but quite reasonable for the area. I was given a pot of hot tea to augment the beverage, free of charge.
I, originally, requested the Green Apple frappe but, regrettably, it was not available. As a matter of fact, a number of menu options were not available which decreased the stars a bit.
There is also a pretty extensive food menu of Khmer and a few Western food items. Prices are in the $4-8 range generally.
The atmosphere is subtle, well lit, tastefully decorated, and the music is suitable (not too loud). The shop is clean and (this is a key point for me) the restrooms were clean and well maintained. I have been in a lot of overall great coffee shops which had restrooms that disappointed but that is not the case here.
The staff is fast, friendly and speak minimal English. My overall impression is favorable and I will look this place up again when in the neighbourhood.
Pro Tip: For those arriving by car, the shop has a relatively large parking area which is pretty rare...

We can order it online for delivery and pick up. Moreover if you always go there for breakfast or lunch, you should suggest that you have a card membership for your savings points. We can download apps from play stores or apps stores and register by ourselves, it's free but if we ask for a card, it requires us...
