Can't believe how this place is rated so well.... Eleven one kitchen kept popping up in our Google searches and for some reason our intuition stopped us from going, but for some reason today we stumbled upon its location. The restaurant is located in a lovely green space and it felt like a refuge away insufferable heat and traffic. Unfortunately that's as good as it got for me. The oversell here is off the charts. From the menu and it's pictures you really think you're going to get something interesting and delicious, How wrong we were... One dish we ordered was the Ken Fish in Bamboo, totally expecting the fish to come out steamed, with a beautiful Bamboo fragrance we were surprised to see a mushed mess of food in a ceramic bamboo bowl! How can you advertise this as ken fish in bamboo? The food was on the lower side of average and we even had to send one of the dishes back because it was totally inedible. To the servers credit they took it back without question and removed the item from our bill. In future, I'll be paying more attention to my intuition and steering clear of these...

Having previously eaten at their second location and having found the food to be really good but the service really bad,I tried their restaurant near the Russian Market ,on street 123. The service was coldly effecient.I ordered a salmon with asparigus.I recieved around 50 grams of gravalux on a bed of greens with a few chopped stalks of asparigus,and some "sticks"of,I believe,oven cooked sweet potato or a similiar root vegetable.The dressing was really good,the dish,while not what I expected,was very well prepared.My feeling was of a well intentioned restaurant with absentee owner who is a very talented cook.,and an excellent trainer of kitchen staff,who is in need of assistence with front of the house service staff training. A waitress who scowls and is doing a job without interest is not condusive to a pleasant...
