What started out as a great evening with cold beers and live music, turned sour when it came time to pay the bill. The management and staff are clearly tuned into new expats or tourists visiting their establishment. When it came time to pay, I was never given a bill only told what the amount I owed was. 3 beers at $1.50, and only relayed in USD, not the local currency. Then the initial attempt was to claim I used a smaller bill than I actually paid with. When I corrected the bartender, he changed up the change to include riel (KHR) and dollars and attempt to blame it on me.
