This was truly our happy place. We spent most of our meals here and all of our days hanging out outside just having running tabs with Nak for the day. Nak is an owner of Happy Place. He was so sweet and their food was truly the best I had in Cambodia. I still think about each meal I had. My favorite meal at happy place was the Chicken Mango Cashew nut. Oh my god it was so good. Then they also had the. Best. Banana. Pancakes. I’ve had. (At least top 3 for sure). So good whole chunks of banana which I typically like it all mashed but these were so good and with Nutella. Yummm. Then my next go to was the Beef Lok Lak which was also so incredibly tasty. He slso had the best Fish Amok Ive had in Cambodia and that is my favorite Cambodian dish and since Happy Place I have yet to find a fish amok with the same satisfaction. I will forever dream of happy place and may even come back to Koh rong specifically...

What makes it special is that the owner actually runs to the nearby fishing village to get fresh seafood right after you order, so you know it's as fresh as it gets! That said, the wait can be a bit long, so don’t order when you’re starving. But trust me, the freshness and flavor are totally worth the wait.
