The River Burger — Restaurant in Kratie

Coming from an American, this was an amazing burger shop. I only discovered it today and have already gone for two meals with my wife and friend.

There are many options to choose from, including vegetarian. My fried egg beef burger with spicy mayo was great and my wife enjoyed her vegetarian mushroom burger. We later came back for the margarita pizza, fettuccini Alfredo and banana fosters which were all made every well. Totally recommend the banana fosters for desert, they’re very flavorful and come with a seasoned orange juice. A big bonus is the bathroom is very clean with toilet paper and soap which unfortunately is rare to find out here.

I've had a LOT of hamburgers in a lot of little Cambodian towns. This is most definitely one of the best burgers I've had outside of Phnom Penh/Siem Reap/Kampot! Good beef in a patty that isn't paper-thin like many places, properly seasoned and flavorful. Even had pickle on it, a rarity in Cambodia! Legit. The other burgers and the spaghetti our group ordered were all good as well. No AC in the dining area but the fans were adequate for the day we visited. This was our favorite restaurant in Cambodia so far! The food is amazing, the main star being their onion rings. But the zinger burger & spaghetti bolognese (believe it or not) were so so so delicious as well!

We ate here 3x in a row and time on time it was amazing. So if you are wondering where to eat in this (sorry not sorry) dull town, this is your place! And trust me I looked at every single one of them on Google...
