This hotel is old, dirty and the facilities it advertises are not up to par especially when advertised as 4 star. I'm not one to complain but issues just kept adding up. The first meal i ate here made me sick enough to miss my tour the following day, the "masseuses" that came to our room for me and my partner where unprofessional, brought no oil, no massage bed and spent the duration talking and laughing making me and my partner uncomfortable and injuring her shoulder in the process. They felt imcompetent compared to the other massages we have recieved in cambodia. |The breakfast was incredibly lacklustre in service and also in food available, unless you enjoy old noodles and wet ham. The gym is badly equipped and incredibly untidy, only one socket in the room worked, some are falling out of the wall. We needed to call twice to reception to get someone to help us get hot water in our room. The room itself is tatty and the bathroom mouldy. |We are checking out two days early as it is far less than we had hoped for and expected.|The only positives i've experienced is that the bed is comfortable and the air con works.|Would recommend looking elsewhere and we will certainly not be...

When we arrived the hotel was full. The owner and receptionist were extremely rude. They showed us that the confirmation on the room booking was in their system but they had no rooms available. At first they refused to sign a paper admitting that they turned us away. They also refused to refund the money. They were not willing to assist in finding alternative accomodation. They were even resistant when I asked to borrow the phone to do a local call. ||||After two hour the owner finally signed the paper that we needed to show the travel agency. It was almost 10pm. We had two crying babies and nowhere to go. The entire city was fully booked. Luckily I had the number to SPG. I called the Le Meridien hotel. Due to an early departure they had a room for us. It was fantastic! ||||I was very happy to leave the dirty reception, bugs, noise and rude people behind. It costed us another $820. Expensive but worth every cent!||||So... I will not recommend the Angkor Sor Phoun Villa to anyone. Unreliable, irresponsible,...
