An amazing customer care experience
The hotel is located on the main street easy access for buses, taxis or tuk tuks. Near is a big supermarket where you can pay local money, also $, prices being also labeled in $.
As I entered I was greeted with a cold scented towel and a glass of cold lime ice tea drink.
I didn't have to bother even the check in because I was greeted by Vanthornhg UK who presented himself and offered a warm welcoming that rarely I can see nowadays. Keep up the good work, many employees in hospitality business have to learn from him.
Near the reception there is a touristic information point so you can ask at the reception what you are interested in: starting Angkor wat visit, tuk tuk ride there, transportation to and from airport or anywhere to the town ( pub street, night market, old market) and even some pottery classes.
I booked from the hotel tuk tuk visit to Angkor Wat which was 18$/tuk tuk- 4 persons can use one of the hotel tuk tuk. The driver assisted to buy tickets: one day pass costs 37$ and be prepared for a photo that will be taken on the counter and put on your acces ticket, which you have to keep it close all the time.
Near the entrance there is a restaurant where you can have a drink or lunch or dinner. Decent prices but higher than restaurants and pubs on the Pub street, smaller portion as well. 1.5km away, by tuk tuk is around 1$. You should use Grab application.
Also near the reception is a store with very good quality clothes and jewelery. Also a spa, which is near the hotel, you will be escorted there by a hotel employee. Nice experience by the way. Prices starting 15$ one hour massage.
The room is big enough, clean, complimentary water, coffee and tea, refilled everyday. Also, in the room you will find sleepers that you can use for the pool. Pool is not big but is cozy and well equiped with towels.
The breakfast has a lot of dishes: locals and Europeans. There are fresh fruits also, omelette stand as well.
I definitely recommend this hotel. Is a real gem especially customer care services. I was asked for feedback, given fairly and it was an extremely nice surprise to be awarded with cocktail from the bar, delicious by the way ( I decided for a strawberry daiquiri).
Once again, congrats for your work

Read moreThe hotel itself shows its age a little but it's all made up for by the staff. They are all incredibly attentive and eager to help with a smile on their face.
At points I think we may have been the only people there and it was quite overwhelming all the attention we got! When we went to reception to ask for something the three people behind the desk stood up ready, one standing near the door came over and the head of the team (Sophy I think) came up too. It was quite funny.
The pool is nice but doesn't get very cold as it's in sunlight all day so not as refreshing as you hope after a day walking around Angkor Wat.
We booked through Jetstar and got a lot of inclusions: 15 min full body massage each welcome cocktail each (which were amazing) fruit platter in room (which was in the fridge and we didn't notice till the third day) airport pick up and drop off (which we weren't aware of until we got there so lost out on $10 there).
The downsides that stopped us from giving 5 stars: the air-conditioning was very slow to cool the room but then when it got there it got really cold and the settings on the remote didn't appear to make any difference to the fan. the TV signal was really bad and pretty much unwatchable. Not a big deal when you're on Holiday but nice to relax after a hit day out. Miss communication prior to arrival about the free pick up meant we spent $10 extra on the taxi.
However, overall and for the price it's more than worth it especially for the staff!...
