Red Rock Grill Ltd — Restaurant in 100 Mile House

Very pleased with this place.

I've come here 4 times in the last 30 days. Each time the service has been very very good.

Today Sven had the restaurant to himself and expertly handled the business. Very attentive service, quick quality checks, very polite and quick to accommodate.

The ladies that have served me previously have been excellent as well.

When I take the time to review a place it is because I believe people should know about it.

I bought the two pastas special today, got the chicken stroganoff to eat and the Salmon dill creme to go. Pasta was very filling, tasty and presented nicely. Great value for a pub style pasta. Nothing over the top, but exactly within what I would expect.

Previously I've had the southwest chefs salad. A half order filled me up. Very nice variation on a chefs salad. Pulled pork, in my opinion could be shredded fully to allow the sauce flavor to permeate, but that's the kitchens prerogative, and it's tender and tasty as it is.

Great selection of draft, including a cider.

TVs in the lounge area are visable by all seats, great for NFL Sundays.

Ample parking, wheelchair accessible, new improved menu and clean bathrooms.

I don't usually give pubs 4 stars, but because all the essentials are here, they earned that from me. A 5th star, if the interior design and layout was more open. The only issue I have is I feel like I'm sitting in a cubicle. Can't see whats going on around me.

Thank you to the staff who keep me coming back. To the management, thank you for bringing all this to fruition.

I've been here before and the quality has gone down. I was just at the restaurant tonight and it wasn't very busy. I sat down and the table was super sticky. It took the waitress about ten minutes to come ask if we wanted water, and when she did take our order she wrote it on her hand! My mother ordered small garden salad and I had the chicken club sandwhich and it took 40 minutes to get our food. My water didn't getting refilled while I ate (and I left it next to the edge of the table when it was empty). She didn't come over at all while we ate to see if we needed anything. Lastly, i was kinda confused when my sandwich only had chicken, bacon, and cheese on it cause normally club sandwiches have lettuce and tomato on it?? The waffle fries were yummy tho.

We did sit down at 8pm, which is one hour to their closing hour and I saw my waitress doing her closing duties while I was thirsty at my table. So I understand that she had other things going on and probably had a long shift. But I was still disappointed with our table service.

Called ahead as we travelled through town and were wondering about a late dinner. 7.45 eta, we were told they close at 8 but in a friendly tone were told I just come on in. My understanding if a restaurant closes at 8, means last call for kitchen.

Steak night special was offered by the server, which we both ordered. Steaks were cooked to our request, but very chewy. Had to cut into really small pieces to be able to eat it.

Asked for a second beer and was with a quite harsh tone told this would be really last call now.

Another server however approached the table across from us about 10 minutes later very friendly if they would like desert.

There was not much communication with our server (supervisor) but any communication we had with her clearly gave us the message that she doesn’t want us there and that we should get out asap.

I normally tip generously, but feeling that unwelcome my tip was way lower than what I normally give. Hopefully she gets the message and treats other guests better.

Not sure if I would bother going...
