Basking in the glow of a slowly setting sun i was finally enjoying a pleasant evening to myself in the garden. Weather wise it was a perfect week of beautiful sunny days gradually getting warmer all culminating into this amazing sunset. Feeling satisfied with a busy work week now behind me and seeing some really stormy clouds way off in the distance I decided to go for a quick bike ride before nightfall and then flash a bolt of lightning, the storm was moving in fast. As I was biking into town on Lilac st the storm rolled in full force completely drenching me in a matter of seconds, I needed to get out of this rain fast. Lilac st turned into Trethewey st. and I B lined it to the strip mall to find shelter under the store front awnings just until the worst of it passed. Walking along with my bike I was passing Booster Juice looking in the window I saw a new smoothie on the menu board I had never seen before the Banango. That was all I needed as an excuse to go inside and see what this Banango was all about well that and the fact I really needed to use the bathroom. Anyways I walk into Booster juice and ask the girl about the new smoothie and if it had frozen yogurt in it, she said it didn't but could add it so I said sure and she rang it up and told me that it would be $7.50 and I hand her a 5 bill 2 loonies and 2 quarters. So far so good I guess, she didn't exactly seem to be thrilled about working there or having to make a smoothie for me but it was 15 min to closing so I figured she probably just wanted to go home. I attempted to brighten her chore of making my drink and just mentioned about the lightning and thunder that just suddenly came about and she replied saying yeah isnt it awful it was so nice earlier. She put my drink on the counter and quickly retreated to the back of the store where she was when I initially walked in. Remembering the other reason I was there I called out to ask if I may use the restroom and she came back out and I could tell she really didn't want to dragging out a long Ummmmmmmmmm and then a err okay I guess and instead of giving me the key she just used the key to let me into the restroom which is fine by me, but I did find it a little odd why it seemed to be such a hard deal to allow a paying customer use the restroom. While I was in the restroom it was mostly very quiet with no new customers or anything going on in the store -BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG Right like that out of no where a startlingly and obnoxiously loud knock on the restroom door, then nothing, I was so startled I just managed to let out a whimper "heh?" then I hear the employee harshly barking out that the store is closing Soon and that I needed to GET Out of the store right now. So I replied no problem I'll be out straight away I just have my hands to wash and then i immediately flush the toilet and start washing my hands - BANG BANG BANG BANG BA---THIS time as I'm standing beside the door I immediately open the door while she was banging on it with soap and water dripping from my hands and I'm again treated to the Booster Juice customer appreciation service and very rudely told that the store closes soon and that I HAD TO LEAVE the store, and I explained that I understood that the store would be closing soon and holding my wet hands up explained to the employee that I was in the process of washing my hands and she cut me off to so rudely say the same thing. I was just so taken back by how rude and terrible they would treat a customer that just paid over $7 FOR A SMOOTHIE THAT DOESN'T EVEN USE FRESH FRUIT JUICE, IN fact almost every smoothie on the menu doesn't even use fresh fruit juice its all from concentrate, if u want fresh orange juice with your orange Creamsicle smoothie get ready to pay for it, we're talking $10 for a drink that really should be made with fresh orange juice at the initial price of +$7 odd dollars. Sorry to go off on another topic it's just something that's always bothered me. I finished washing and drying my hands and left, employee was in the back somewhere...
Read moreThis evening a friend and I went to the booster juice on South Fraser way in Abbotsford. We had approximately 10 minutes before the store closed at 6pm. As soon as we walk into the store the girl at the register ( long, dark brown hair with glasses) is bluntly rude right off the bat. A lady had come in seconds before us and she was looking for some freshly squeezed juice and the employee rudely said that since they close in about 5 minutes, that all the machines are off. She was so rude about everything and you could tell she did not want us to be there. With that being said, we were under the impression that ALL the machines were off so we ask if we can still get smoothies. Again, she looks at us as if we are stupid and tells us she can still do our smoothies. We order our drinks and another person comes in. While taking our payment, this girl looks up and sees the customer but doesn’t greet them. Instead, she continues to take our money while whispering under her breath, “ugh, of course.” At this point we are shocked at how terrible this customer service is. We understand that no one wants to stay passed their shift but you’re there to do your job, so suck it up and just do it. As we are in the car parked directly in front of the store another car parks right beside us and with a customer STILL IN THE STORE, she quickly RUNS to the door to lock it. Our experience this evening at this location was 0/10. Terrible customer service and until there is something done about the attitude on the girl behind the counter, me and everyone I tell, will not be returning to that location. Not too mention, she was insanely rude to...
Read more👎👎👎 Waited ten minutes with out being acknowledged, typically your staff always greet the customer entering. Other people enter after me and the girl started serving the first face she saw!!! I was next, as I mentioned to that customer who was very understanding. Server said nothing!! Simple floor awareness is a foremest rule of retail know who came in and knowledge etc. Ruined my afternoon and someone I was hoping to treat ( and really needs a treat) I may have spoke in an untoward tone to the girl for which I apologise, "Sorry" Maybe it's training maybe it's complacency either way not the experience we have become accustomed to.
Hope this feedback is used!!!
