Firehouse Subs Abbotsford Clearbrook — Restaurant in Abbotsford

When I came in, I wasn't acknowledged for quite a while. Finally, one of the 4 people in the kitchen called the guy over to take my order. Judging by what I see, most of their business is take out. Drivers constantly coming in and out. I was excited to see a coke freestyle machine, but it's not working. Forcing us to buy more expensive drinks. I ordered a Turkey Bacon Club. He confirmed the topping with me and the pickle on the side. I also ordered a bottle of sprite. I went to sit down on one of the padded seats, and the 5 tables along that wall were all dirty. There are employees constantly walking past to use the bathroom, but not once did someone come to wipe the tables. My sandwich arrived and it looked very nice. I did notice that the pickle the gentleman confirmed with me, was not anywhere to seen. I took my first bite and was a bit surprised with the ranch. It didn't taste like most peppercorn ranch I have had in the past. It tasted like a grocery store branded ranch. It was really heavy on there too. I couldn't really taste much more than that. I will stick to Quiznos, their customer service is way better and tables are cleaned more often. And $12 for a med sandwich, not worth it...

Extremely disappointing trip here. I was happy to donate $5 as i was only getting my child lunch, so i simply asked them if they could not add meatballs to the “meatball” kids sandwich, and add pepperoni instead and no cheese. I said “So just sauce & pepperoni. No cheese.” They said no. So i said lok so can i please just get a small pizza sandwich then?” They said no. So i said “can you go ask the rest of the staff because i have never had an issue else where. Its just two ingredients… Then the one staff member said they could do it. I thanked them & paid. Stated that my son is special needs so he truly wont eat anything else. As we waited i realized we didnt get the kids items with the sandwich, so then they said they couldn’t give it to us because we wanted pepperoni?? So i said so what is the price difference can i please pay it?” Then they gave us the drink and hat. - still no dessert. Which was fine, whatever i wasnt going to mention it again. But once we got home and opened the container this is what we received. They charged me over $7 for over toasted hard bread and two pieces of pepperoni. We purchase 3 full size subs that now cost us $73. We have ordered from here and picked up in the past few months great prepared subs and cheaper than last night. So prices have increased. But the sadess fact is this time the subs were made wrong with too much sauce making everything soggy and everything when delivered was not on bun but a mess thrown on . This is alarming at that price more so. We were worried the quality would not last and hasn't at this South Fraser Abbotsford location. No care, no passion was involved in making these subs as has been in the past. Why ? Starts with just who is the staff now and who as the management is even around to make sure staff keeps quality 1st. We received sloppy messed up subs for this higher price. Delivered Late by a driver who couldn't speak 1 word of English and too could care less other then just dropping off food for Skip the dishes. So now we will not be ordering with any confidence at Firehouse and may not order period.
