Petite Saigon — Restaurant in Airdrie

I used to frequent this establishment regularly. In the last 6 months they have declined an unacceptable amount. I just ordered delivery from them, and it was HORRIBLE!!! At first we thought there was no veggies on our dishes, but they were all piled underneath a heap of very dry rice vermicelli. The meat was so overcooked it was barely pallet-able. Also, the veggies were all discolored and soggy (obviously old).

I called them right after trying out the food to let them know that it wasn't very good. The man on the phone was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me. This was all after he tried to tell me that the veggies were brown because the hot meat was sitting on top of them. This would have been true if it wasn't for the veggies being underneath the noodles. He said, " What do you want me to do about it?". I said , "Nothing I just wont be eating there ever again".

Petite Saigon has been a staple and respected business in Airdire for over a decade. Hien, the owner, gives to our community here in ways that continue to keep giving. Her heart and her dedication to our city, to our youth and to providing quality and delicious food to everyone is obvious to all of us who live here. Her spicy satay soup is delish, her Vietnamese vermicelli bowls are incredible and so are her spring rolls. We have ordered for our family multiple times, we went in to her restaurant before it was take out only, and we have had delivery. All of their food is consistent, affordable, quality and delicious. My wife and I have been to a few vietnamese places in Airdrie as well as restaurants in other cities. We thought we had found a favorite and then decided to take a chance on Petite Saigon. We both agreed that Petite Saigon had some of the best deep fried spring rolls and the best deep fried won tons we've had.

The pho has been delicious both times we ordered from there. The food was prepared quickly and looked and tasted fresh. The people I've met when picking up the food and when ordering the food are friendly and efficient. If you want great vietnamese cuisine, look no further. My wife and I will be regulars here. Can't wait until we can eat at the restaurant.
