Update: I have since gone back to this location and was greeted by all of the staff as well as a sit down with the manager of this location. Honestly prior to the poor experience I had I never had anything to complain about, firehouse subs are superb quality and taste and the staff are usually always very welcoming and attentive. When I returned to this location after the last altercation I recieved that same amazing service and food that I'm used to. I was greeted by everyone and enjoyed an amazing sub with one if the best cookies I ever had. I'm so grateful for the management team and staff for their hospitality and professionalism. The staff apologized for the previous experience which I do believe was simply a one off. I highly recommend going to this location or any! the service has always been great and the food is even greater, shoutout to manager Kim for exceptional customer service and efforts to exceed customer satisfaction.
first review: I had the worst experience here this past Sunday. Upon arrival we were not greeted/welcomed and just recieved attitude/dirty looks. I'm assuming it was cause we came 30 mins prior to closing which is sad as they messed up our orders twice. At 9PM we were told they we closed and packed up to leave as the staff slammed doors and gave us dirty looks, I literally asked what the problem was as we are leaving (literally standing on our way out) and was yelled at by the staff who said "I WANNA GO HOME". Honestly I can't make this up, I said I understand and were leaving its literally 9:01 were heading out. I asked the woman to calm down and she asked her other colleague if she could and I quote "can I hit them?" at that point we were like hit WHO and for what?! honestly it was a horrible experience like who does that. lol we just wanted subs because I love firehouse but the service here is trash. highly recommened the Markham location. the staff even called the police on us and we weren't at any point refusing to leave we literally just wanted head office contact at that point to raise this experience for awareness as it was NOT OKAY. I have the video on my phone taken at 9:03 with the staff yelling and being super erratic with me my sister and friend. Police were literally called at 9:02.. never experienced anything like this in my life. Even when police arrived we were only in the store leaving our contact info with the Manger, never did we express that we would stay. we came, we ate and wanted to leave lol but why we had to go through this is beyond me. if I could give negative stars...
Read moreShame on you. This location is completely gone down hill. We loved Firehouse subs from this location.. Not anymore. New owners do not offer a friendly atmosphere nor do they offer great customer service. When you are ordering a "premium" product that you are paying 20 bucks a pop for you should expect some sort of customer service and kindness. Nope none of the above. You walk in and that's the first problem... You continue with caution because you have a certain expectation. Nope again.. You order 4 subs and pay over 80 bucks. These subs use to be steller. Now the subs are comparable to subway (maybe even less). You open your sub all excited just to be let down severely. Your sub is litterly thrown together with less meat and veggies that you cannot even see. The veggies are so finely chopped you need a magnifying glass to see them. This location also does not understand English very well and you go home with the wrong order and are really let down as they do not even offer you your bill. We ordered 2 turkey bacon sandwiches and neither had the condements that we ordered and also ordered a brisket which they forgot all the toppings and a plain turkey and instead sent us home with a turkey bacon sandwich. We were so upset because we have a half hour drive and were not going back to fix their mistakes. If this is RBI new model for Firehouse good luck, because now you have lost one faithful customer. I am sure we are not the only ones. We will not pay extra for a "premium" sub when they are not. Our comments are do not even bother,...
Read morePros: -Great subs! Very reminiscent of how Quiznos used to be (does Quiznos even exist anymore?), except firehouse subs are even better! They absolutely load it up with meat and cheese, then make it nice and toasty for your enjoyment. Also, their footlong subs are actually a foot long (possibly longer). To top it all off, there are multiple hot sauces to load it up with. Very friendly staff! I've been to multiple locations at different times and they always emphasize the customer experience. Staff greets you when you arrive and is friendly and helpful through the whole ordering process. Multiple times the owner has checked in on me directly to make sure everything was to my liking (it was). -They really emphasize the local community. They claim to donate to local charities, so that's cool. Cons: -Be prepared to wait approximately 5-6 minutes for your sub to be prepared and toasted properly. Honestly though, it's worth it. Footlong subs cost over 10 bucks, so that's a little more pricey than other fast foods, but again, it's worth it. Better quality food, and large portions makes it easily better and well worth every penny.
Overall, quite excellent. Once you've had this you will never eat at...
