McDonald's — Restaurant in Ajax

EVERY TIME there is a problem. My order has been completely screwed up... attitude has been given, wait times in the drive thru have been unreal, Or (especially recently) ... Long standing menu items "aren't served here"... Last night my friend wanted to quickly stop here as she was hungry (I personally despise coming to this location) - we went inside at 10:03pm to get kicked out because they closed at 10:00pm (ok whatever)... So we get in the drive thru line up... Eventually getting to order, my friend got her Jr. Chicken, the two of us left in the car wanted to get the Chicken bacon Mcwrap ... "Sorry sir we don't serve that item here" I asked "how can you not serve a Mcwrap?" The reply "sorry sir we don't serve that." So I said "ok, I will take the chicken snack wrap then." "No sir... We don't serve that item either... We don't serve wraps." I asked "you don't serve wraps at all??" They replied "there's no button on the register for any kind of wrap" And this is just last night...

I don't have time to write about all the problems I have had at this location... This McDonald's location is the worse I have ever been to... For several bad stops here, not just last night's experience (I have a boss who for the longest time always made us stop here and EVERY TIME there was an issue; from bad employee attitude to something always going wrong with the order). I usually come to this McDonalds to get my breakfast. The staffs are friendly and provide genuine service. Unfortunately, today (08/30/2024) I ordered two medium coffees (one with 2 milk and the other with 3 milk) which had an order # 1077. When I was waiting at the order pick up for approximately 10mins, the staff brought 2 coffees and called out order #174 twice. When nobody came to pickup the coffees, the staff called out "1 Medium with 2milk and 1 M with 3 milk". So, I showed my receipt and she said infront of the other people "yours is order #1077, not order#174". So, I waited for some time and the same staff came and asked what I was waiting for and I showed her the bill. Without accepting her mistake, she took off the labels on the coffee cups and said she called out my order several times. In response I said that I told her that I ordered these coffee.

I understand that the staff may be very busy, but its important to accept their mistake and appologize for it. Apologizing won't affect one's dignity. Everyone makes mistakes, but shouldn't think that others are stupid. I feel sorry for the people who are working with this staff and the other customers who were affected by this particular staff. Please take this seriously and train this staff properly FYI, I am educated in Toronto, ON and worked...

Upon entering, we were greeted by Shaneeks, whose warm demeanor and friendly smile immediately set a positive tone for our visit. Her presence added a delightful touch to the dining experience.

Eric, one of the staff members, truly went above and beyond in ensuring our orders were prepared to our satisfaction. He paid meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each item was made "the ocky way," as we had requested. Despite the slower pace of food preparation, Eric's dedication shone through as he meticulously checked each order, ensuring accuracy and quality.

The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable dining environment. However, the delay in food delivery was noticeable, and although the service was exemplary, the wait was longer than expected.

Overall, this McDonald’s is commendable for its outstanding customer service, highlighted by the cheerful presence of Shaneeks and Eric’s commitment to meeting customer preferences.
