Pita Pit — Restaurant in Ajax

I went to this location on Sunday September 25 2016 around 6pm. Honestly I don't ever complain but I found this experience I needed to share. First, there were 2 females working. When I walked in with my friend the 1st girl took our order and 2nd girl went into back. I ordered a pita and my friend ordered a pita and smoothie. After I placed my order the 1st girl went over to the grill and put 1 portion of meat for my friends pita and then put her hand in the bucket of chicken and pulled out about 3 dime sized pieces of chicken on the grill for my pita. While cooking, I realized I wasn't asked for mushroom or onion to be added on the grill so I asked if she could put on. When she began to dress the pita. I told her all items I wanted on it but then realized I wasn't asked if I wanted taziki. So when I asked for it she kind of had to awkwardly spread it on the top of my pita with everything still in it. Once finished....she began on my friends pita. When she finished my friends, then she decided to wrap mine up and my friends also. At this point my pita is definitely cold. When we sat down to eat, my pita felt lose and was falling apart as it had a hole in the side of it. When I ate it.... It was of course cold and to be honest the crappiest pita I've eaten in a while. Just before we finish I realize my friend never got her smoothie....so I had to ask for that. She clearly forgot about it. As we finished our meal another customer came in and ordered and as girl 1 begins to make pita customer asks "uhm sorry can you please change your gloves you were touching the money with that" and girl 1 actually began to argue saying "I'm not actually touching ur food while I grill ur chicken" ...........she was wearing same gloves she had on at beginning of my cash order....yuck. Oh by the way, girl 2 was in the back of the store the entire time. These girls seemed miserable. They had no hospitality at all and not even a smile on her face..... Jeez girl CHEER UP! I went back to same location today (Tuesday) but I said to my boyfriend that if this same girl was working I would have walked right back out the door and gone...

Easily the worst Pita Pit you will ever come to. I’ve had a positive experience 1-2 times in 4 years. First thing that bothers me is the fact pork goes on the same grill as chicken or falafel. Being Jewish Muslim or vegetarian you can’t eat here. Secondly which is the biggest issue is the service. Past few months especially since the pandemic they have been very overwhelmed with Skip the Dishes and Uber eats orders. There could be 1-2 people ahead of you and you’ll wait minimum 30 min. I’ve had to ask for a refund twice. Today was the last straw / if you know you’re making 20 wraps then you need to let us know or just get the 1-2 people out the way. It’s disrespectful to let people stand there as we see you making so many other wraps when no one is in line. Either hire more staff or remove the option for delivery if you can’t handle it.

The previous review I put was positive because of the one employee who was amazing and ive yet to see again and I was there at 8 PM at the time so I guess it was false advertising.

No one ever leaves happy, just frustrated. I’ve seen several people open the door and then just walk out and I guess they have learned to see if the workers are making sandwiches but no one is in there then it’s for sure a pick up. Only reason they don’t have more negative reviews is because everyone is so stressed with this pandemic they probably don’t...

Today I had the worse experience...the customer service was disgusting. The young lady working was disrespectful & rude. I order a chicken pita and she was rushing my order I had to ask her to remake it 4 times. The stuffing was bursting out of the pitta bread and falling out in her hand. And she wanted to give it to me like that. I told her take a good look at what she's handing me.... my question to her was! Dose that look presentable???!!....she them ask if I wanted it in a bowl instead. (I was in total disgust ) Worse customer service experience at this location. I'm...
