Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Ajax

I made an Uber Eats order. I called the restaurant the second I pressed submit to make a request (there were no options to do so on the app). I asked if my second burrito bowl could have the cold vegetables/ sauces put on the side instead (one extra container). They said no because of the cost of the container. Okay... I couldn't cancel as I would have been charged $20 so I just left it. I was working and missed their call. Then Uber called and said "you didn't have a special request when you ordered, when you called the store was already done making your food". I don't appreciate the lie from the restaurant to Uber eats. I was not making a big deal of this, it was a simple request and I accepted the answer. There was no way they completed, let alone started, my order when I called because it was 2 seconds after I pressed submit. I think my request was reasonable but it is what it is. Very different from how this place was last time I went. Got a grilled chicken quesadilla. For $15 it’s a letdown. You can get the same item at Cali Mexican Grill for the same price in the same style and it’s amazing and flavourful.

“Grilled chicken” is 100% from a frozen bag of pre-cuts that are reheated. Zero flavour, hard middle, all juice ejected from over heating. They’re not marinated, just sitting in the moisture taken out of them when thawed. I have never been into a Quesada previously, but I can tell you from the experience I had today, that I will be visiting there more often. I will also make sure to tell others about my first and definitely not last experience being there. The staff was so kind and welcoming to everyone who walked through the door. Making sure to say a heartfelt hello and good bye to everyone. They were accommodating and so friendly. Everyone in line was obviously a return customer as the staff made comments showing that they knew who they were. It was a very inviting atmosphere. Can’t say enough to express my satisfaction. If this isn’t how the other stores deal with their patrons, I strongly encourage the other stores to take note. If you were unsure about visiting this restaurant, cast those doubts aside.
