A&W Canada — Restaurant in Alberta

I walk in stand at the counter for a couple minutes 3 employees look at me yet no one comes to the till meanwhile there is 9 staff that I can see finally someone comes to take my order so I place my order, a teen burger and a chicken buddy burger with extra pickle. I then get asked to repeat myself not once but twice, and I am not a soft spoken person I like to be heard by all. Now I then agree to donate to ms I say yup throw 5 bucks on there I should have noticed sooner by the price but I was in a hurry so i leave jump in my rig and head on down the road.thsts when I started thinking about it 1350 for two burgers that's not right especially when one is suppose to be a buddy burgers I look in my bag the teen burger looked like they took a handful of ingredients and stuffed it in the sleeve then I look at the other one......if i wanted a chicken burger i would have ordered one not to mention it had 2 tiny pickles on it. Yes it's in the little mini-mall of the Shell service station in town, but it's a full-scale A&W will full-on menu, all the family burgers (papa, mama, teen, uncle, etc.) oh yes and root beer or root beer floats in a thick glass mug..

Seriously, have you seen the huge size mega-large root beer in a glass mug? that is an awesome sight!

Anyway, damn good stuff. We don't get A&W like this in the USA anymore, and I don't care if the ice cream is now a hockeypuck shape, I still dig it and love getting the food, their Poutine isn't bad either considering it's instant gratification.

Lorainne is a mouthy, condescending and needs some serious work on customer service. Restaurant dining room was a complete mess but I guess staff were too busy treating customers like garbage to bother looking at the state of the establishment. Other woman working the counter with lovely Lorainne was just as much of a treat. Imagine chewing out one of the few customers who pick up after their meal because they accidentally put items in the wrong bin. Time to review the staff you have...
