Piros Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Alberta

Came here with my wife and we weren't impressed, we both ordered pasta alfredo, mine with shrimps and hers with chicken, mine was ok, some parts of the pasta under cooked, but the flavour was good, unfortunately my wife's chicken tasted gross, I won't say it was spoiled but it did taste like that, I called someone to complain and it happened that the guy who came was the cook, as soon as I mentioned the problem the guy was quite defensive and upset for the complain he said right away that the chicken was fresh and he marinated it himself (so I guess I was lying) no apology, he just said he was going to take it off the bill. Probably some other things at their menu are good but I guess we won't try them. First and...

Looks like it is run by an older couple. But she was the only one doing cash, bussing tables, taking orders, and running the orders.

The food was pretty good. Chicken was a little dry but really nice flavour.

The side Cesar is amazing. I would go back just for this.

But I would not go back if I was in a hurry. Dinner for the 3 of us took 2 hours. The place looks nice on the inside. And luckily we are on holidays so we were not in a hurry, but with only 1 person manning the whole front we had to wait...

Great Pizza, great poutine, great souvlaki, great spanokopita, great steak, great service great everything! I live out of town now but it is still one of my favorite places to eat. When I finally had time to bring my Fiance here, he was immediately annoyed with me as "I should have brought him to this restaurant sooner." The 45 minute car ride home was mostly silent and awkward with him glaring at me periodically. I have learned my lesson and will not deprive the ones I love of great food ever again....
