barBURRITO — Restaurant in Alberta

This is probably the first time I’ve made a review, and it’s unfortunately negative. I’ve had pretty bad experiences that I thought I would review, but I just never pushed through them. But yesterday, I just saw something I couldn’t let go. As I was waiting for my other items, one of the ladies was handling cash, but when she finished, she did not change her gloves before handling food equipment. The thing is, people who handle toppings such as lettuce - where they have to grab it with their gloved hands - also handle food epuipment as well. It only hit me after, but assuming she was handling cash before hand, it’s definitive that there has been some cross contamination in the toppings of even my burrito. Forgive me, but this was just a serious lack of concern for the costumer. What I saw literally completely undermined why gloves are used in the first place. Might as well just use bare hands at this point. Other than this, I have nothing to say but that the food tasted...

Ordered online and was given a pick up time of 13:06. Got there a couple of minutes before the pick up time and they hadn’t even started my order. It wasn’t ready until 13:17. My burrito was the soggiest most flavourless almost inedible burrito that I’ve ever eaten. I added notes to put the sauces on the side (so it wouldn’t get soggy before I could eat it), I watched the lady put them in the burrito. On top of the long wait to pick up my order - which was a COMBO, all I got was the burrito and fries… no drink. Places need to do better when you’re paying almost $20 for a fast food COMBO. Sure am thirsty… wish I had something to drink… that was supposed to have been included in my order… Incredibly...

Our office orders from this location, via pick-up or Skip The Dishes, often. The food is always yummy! However, orders are inconsistent sometimes and associates do not have reasonable explanations for the inconsistencies. For example, we usually receive chips and salsa with the tacos (as pictured on the menu), but one time we didn’t, and when I called to ask why the associate said it was because we ordered through Skip the Dishes - but we’ve ordered through that service before and received chips and salsa with the tacos. Also, charging $3.25 for a tiny 2oz pot of guacamole is ridiculous! You can get an entire avocado for $2. Other than these small aspects, this is a decent option for...
