Shanghai 360 — Restaurant in Alberta

Extremely poor customer service experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were unfriendly and dismissive. There was no warm greeting, no effort to make us feel welcome, and they barely communicated with us throughout our time there. It was clear they weren’t interested in providing a good customer experience.

The place is not kid-friendly—no accommodations or patience for families with children. On top of that, it’s not allergy-conscious at all. We tried to ask about ingredients due to an allergy concern, and they were either unwilling or unable to provide proper answers. That’s a serious safety issue.

What stood out the most was their pushy attitude toward upselling. They seemed more interested in charging for extras than actually serving the main items properly. Our questions or concerns were brushed off, and it felt like the whole attitude was: “Just buy, take it, and leave.” No care for the customer’s experience, no interest in us coming back.

Honestly, the poor service ruined the entire experience. The food could have been fine, but the way we were treated left such a bad impression that we didn’t even enjoy the meal. I lost my appetite.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They really need to rethink how they train their staff and how they handle customer service. If certain servers can’t treat customers with respect, they shouldn’t be working there at all—they’re damaging the restaurant’s reputation. Very bad customer service!!!!! I didn’t give a review if something is wrong, I just slide it but this lady (Vietnamese/chinese) is getting into my nerves! I’m not yet done with my order but she’s already asking next customer behind me. It confused herself for asking 2 customer at the same time lol and giving attitude ?? So messy this people upon getting order, they have to ask one at a time not being in a hurry even there’s people in line they have to finish first one customer at a time before asking the next person!!!! Tried this place during my visit to Premium Outlet Mall and i was craving for something fried also to munch on. I went with combo 2 where you can have your own choice of two entrée with rice or noodles. I picked Bourbon chicken, Spicy Mango chicken and stir fried noodles. Bourbon chicken will always be my first choice when having something from Shanghai. I was really disappointed with the Spicy Mango Chicken because it was tasting more sweet than spicy after few bites which made the meal difficult to finish.
