barBURRITO — Restaurant in Alberta

My experience at the place was amazing. Staff Miss Yashica and Vivek was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I were greeted with the smile when we entered the place. I am bit fussy with my choices of food, they patiently made my bowl with extra veggies and less sauce. Food- Veggies were freshly cut and they looked clean. Food was served hot. Great options was available like Gluten Free, lactose free and halal food.

Ambiance - Place was neat and presentable. Washroom was clean with all the essentials. Place was warm so you could eat your meal in comfort.

Staff was professional and very vigilant to attend guest. They changed their gloves each time before making next order. Place like this need a big shout out as it’s not only the food but how you were treated with the staff makes the difference.

I ordered the street tacos. I was already dubious when they said I couldn’t mix protein… however I wanted to give them a chance. It was painful watching the staff struggle to make 3 tacos, clearly they were not well trained. Then dropping the salsa on the floor before stuffing it in the bag of corn chips… I still didn’t mind as I did not intend to eat the chips.

Then I opened the box contains my tacos, and the mash I was presented with (likely due to the ridiculous trouble trouble they had closing the box) was so un appealing, I got up and threw it out.

We've tried barBURRITO a couple of times now, for pickup and delivery, and it was very tasty both times - it passed the "can we get that again?" kid test so would definitely recommend trying it out.

It felt like their website was less informative about the menu and options than the version on SkipTheDishes. Maybe the online ordering part makes it clearer though (we didn't use that).

Update, Oct 2023:

They have the crazy-spicy Northern Reaper burrito back on the menu. So good if you like that many "Scovilles" - I've had 2 in the last week (I may need an intervention). Wife had the shrimp tacos which were also delicious. Service has...
