Blaze Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Alberta

The experience was not good at all. The food was good, nothing extraordinary. The service seemed normal until our waitress, Deborah, forgot to bring one of our friends' beer. When she was reminded for the second time she decided to say that our friend was drunk and that she did not feel comfortable bringing him another beer. Despite the surprise, he decided to calmly accept her decision to avoid any kind of conflict. We were surprised when a few minutes later the person we can assume was the manager showed up in a threatening manner saying that liquor was not served to intoxicated people. There was no kind of response from us, we just asked for the bill and left. Very sad that the customer is treated this way because Deborah forgot to bring a beer. We will not return, there is no reason, neither food...

A friend and I went to the Blaze Bar to grab some YYC ice cream fest ice creams for us and our two kids before a concert at the Event Centre, but it was a total gong show. We didn’t know there were 3 bad locations in the casino, and then none of them knew about the ice cream fest item, even though the event said it was at the Blaze bar, and the bar itself had the placard advertising the item! It took over 20 minutes of running around with our kids waiting outside the building before we got our delicious ice cream bar. So I can’t speak to their food or regular service, but the communication among staff about a publicized event affecting their menu...

Stayed at the hotel which was amazing! This restaurant was horrible! I ordered one drink (rum and coke) and it took 3 different servers and twenty minutes later for it to be served. We were not offered water or checked on after our first drink. We sat there for an hour before we were asked if we wanted to order food. We had a few questions regarding the menu (differences between a couple items) and the servers didn't know their own menu. When our food finally did arrive, it came out cold. All in all, not being that busy of place compared to the buffet and side bar, we now know why. All around, it was just terrible...
