I visited this place first time, but not a good experience…
Food was great! Sashimi & sushi were all fresh, and the udon was amazing!
Service was not good at all. Servers kept coming to ask us for order even we told them we were waiting for friends. But when we asked them for water, it took so long to get it…. And when we finally were ready to order, no one was coming, not even anyone else on the floor; We had to keep waiting and waiving our hands until somebody comes out to the floor. We ordered, and the foods came out all good. We were in a big group, and half of us got food right away some how, the rest had to just wait with nothings. As a person who worked in Food & Hospitality, I expected to have at least one dish for each person to enjoy together. But we did not get this. And we asked them for more water, but instead of giving us a bottle of water, a guy was pouring the water for us. For this, every one’s glass was pushed to where the guy stands, so we were worried if glasses are all mixed;; more than 5 people, is it really hard to give us a bottle …. Or staff pours the water for each person..? It was surprising as well as disappointment.
When I finally pay for the bill, I was charged for extra $1.00 (it stated 25% tea) for green tea which I did not have. I told the guy what i had and he confirmed, but did not expect to see that in my bill. Just for $1, i would not get bothered so much and thought of tip instead, but was not happy due to not a good service from the beginning.
Tipping was set up from 18% as minimum in the machine, so I had to customize as I was not happy to pay them tips for that much.
Overall, I would not go this place again or recommend this place to anyone else; Food for the price is not bad, rather be super great, but their services would make day not...

I'm surprised I haven't shared my positive experiences until now. You're always greeted immediately, seated at the same pace and treated with the utmost respect. There is attention to detail all the way through. Rolls are tight and cleanly cut, sides are delicious. They clearly care because every plate that goes out are plated and garnished beautifully. We eat a lot of sushi, but the actual nigiri and sashimi pieces here are amazing. Pressing that a little further; we were told that it's the chef that makes the difference and I 100% agree. I don't know if it's how it's cut or how it's plated but it's head and shoulders above most.
Food aside; as it's phenomenal. If you're the kind of person to have sushi weekly/regularly it is worth investing your time coming here. The extremely talented staff may recognize you, they'll treat you right.

Read moreLet me start by saying that I really don't like giving low ratings and leaving negative reviews, but, dear friends at Kibo Sushi, this review is especially for you. I understand that sometimes you don't have enough time because you have a lot of orders and so on, but I am really disappointed. I ordered a large sushi set, which was quite expensive. I really wanted sushi, I dreamed about it all week, but when it arrived, I was disappointed. First, the price for crooked cuts is too high, I don't think it was worth rushing the cutting. Second, some of the sushi was so thin and poorly made that it fell apart right in my chopsticks. I couldn't even dip it in soy sauce because it was impossible. Third, there was so little rice on the sushi that it seemed like you were using leftover rice. Fourth, I paid a lot of money, and they didn't even give me a pack of chopsticks. I'm sorry to write all this, friends, but I'm very disappointed. I can conclude that it's...
