We stopped in at the Weaselhead after voting to have a bite to eat. We weren't sure what to expect but went in with fair to middling expectations. At lunchtime on a Saturday, the place was mostly empty and we grabbed a booth. The menu is a pretty straightforward pub menu, but they did have phyllo wrapped saganaki, which was interesting enough to grab our attention. The saganaki was tasty, the phyllo was exactly what you want out of phyllo, and it was drizzled with honey, bringing a sweetness you don't normally associate with saganaki, but it worked extremely well. I opted for the old standby, a clubhouse on brown with fries. The fries are terrific and are obviously made in house. The clubhouse had great ingredients, but was advertised as coming on garlic bread, and it it was, I couldn't tell. Overall though, it was tasty, though the bread was a bit.. overtoasted. The partner went even more basic than I did, and opted for chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers here are delightful and have their own unique, flavourful breading rather than just being out of the freezer. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the Weaselhead, and will undoubtedly be back when we're in the neighborhood. The above came to $47 before tax and tip.

Long time neighborhood bar. And was busy with obvious regulars. I Was here years ago and not to impressed. In the last few years they have renovated and it does look better now. First impression when i walked in was what is that smell???? Kinda like sewer gas. It does go away in bit after you get used to it. Service was a little slow guess cause, aI guess, I'm not a regular. Beer was cold and the "medium rare beef dip" was very well done and not much flavor. Fries were nothing special and the deep fried pickle and some melty thing garnish were..... I think it will be years again before i give the weasel head another try.

Updated - Classic local dive bar with great live music and fun karaoke. Great specials each day make it affordable to go out. Love watching sports and Stampede events on the tv's. Steve the manager is great and Cristin is fantastic, I never had an empty glass when she was my waitress. Fish tacos, deep fried pickles and a ceasar cocktail is my go to here. Thankful for the second wine option as well! Will be back as usual.

Decent pub food. I wouldn’t go for full priced items but we went on a Sunday afternoon. Beef dip “sliders” (a sandwich cut into 3 pieces) was $7, greasy garlic parm fries $4.50 and deep fried pickles for $4.50. Beers were under $6 per pint on special. Their prices/specials aren’t easy to find, it’s probably outdated except for what they posted on the board. The waitress was quick and attentive, food was quick.
