5/5 Stars - A Hidden Gem in the Badlands!
I'm still buzzing from my incredible experience at Cafe Ole in Drumheller! As a traveler passing through this charming town in the heart of the Canadian Badlands, I stumbled upon this cozy cafe and it quickly became the highlight of my trip.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor was eclectic and quirky, with a delightful mix of local art and vintage touches that added to the cafe's charm.
But it's not just about the ambiance - the food and drinks at Cafe Ole are truly exceptional! I ordered the signature Ole Latte, which was expertly crafted with a perfect balance of rich espresso and velvety steamed milk. And for breakfast, I indulged in the mouth-watering Eggs Benedict, which was made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and cooked to perfection.
What truly sets Cafe Ole apart, however, is the outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, taking the time to chat with me about the local area and offer insider tips on the best attractions to visit.
As I sat enjoying my meal and sipping my coffee, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this hidden gem in the heart of Drumheller. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Cafe Ole is an absolute must-visit destination. Be sure to stop by and experience it for yourself - I promise you won't be disappointed!

Everything is the same as before, but in talking with the owner she mentioned they'd like to expand a lot of their baked goods in the future. I'll try and get back and update this in the future.
If you havent been there, it's clean and comfortable. They have everything you'd want on a coffee shop menu. All the food is made in house and fresh. Great lunch specials. Only complaint is the specialty coffees. They could definitely use some help getting their espresso machine dialled in and training staff to consistently produce top notch drinks. (Disclaimer: I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so maybe their coffee is fine for the majority of people, but I'd love to see them up their game.) Only other complaint is that I find it too dark. There's almost no natural light, and the fixtures are few and quite dim. Its a lovely atmosphere, but tough to sit and work in without...
Read moreUpon arrival I was promptly ignored by the employee who seemed to be making some sort of sandwich. This gave me more than ample time to explore the earthy and wooden surroundings. I like dark places and Ole delivered in spades. After dealing with two other customers, my server mustered up the energy to tell me the coffee was self service. I paid the $2.50 to fill my reusable Cup and poured myself a cup of their darkest offering. Unlike the decor however, their coffee was neither dark nor flavourful. As I left Ole the server was busy at work on her cell phone, hopefully contacting a new supplier for better dark roast beans, however, I may...
