Stopped at Fatburger before Costco, and like usual, it was great. I’ve tried dozens of Mushroom Swiss burgers at various restaurants (fast food and otherwise) across Canada and in 1/2 dozen states, and the Fatburger Mushroom Swiss consistently comes out on top! They’ve nailed the formula - lots of fresh, fried mushrooms, a tasty patty with melted Swiss cheese, a soft, fresh bun, and the perfect amount of mustard and mayo - wow! This burger really nails what a mushroom Swiss burger is supposed to be. I had fries as well, and these were the best fries I’ve had in a long time - crispy outside and soft inside - great job! My gluten and dairy-free spouse had a lattice-wrap burger, again - consistently great. Unfortunately they do not have a gluten-free fryer so my spouse can’t enjoy the fries😕 - we’d eat there more often if that was the case. The staff were friendly and very pleasant😀 Highly...
Read moreThis fat burger is obviously making too much money ….. so much money that they can just shut down at 4pm on a Saturday. Door was locked when I came up …. Some nice customer let me in and I let them know their door was locked and I was told that there was only two people working(there was 4 employees in the restaurant but three were eating ) and so they were closed til 5…. I don’t know much about running a fat burger but I’m sure you can do it with two people . Anyways I ate my subpar food and left. Then as I walked to my Vehicle I seen 4 other customers get denied by the door being locked. I’ll Never be back. Management should do something about this “country club “ as it’s obvious that the employees come before customers here . Literally watching paying customers walk away on a Saturday afternoon is a terrible business practice. Guess the owners are millionaires and don’t care about the...
Read moreWe've been to several Fatburger locations before and never had a problem. In fact, we have always enjoyed our meal. We decided to try Fatburger EIA. The burgers were raw in the middle. The French fries were raw in the middle. The onion rings were barely thawed. AVOID AVOID AVOID
EDIT: I've heard back from Alberta Health Services' Health Inspector. I've been told that prior to his inspection, hamburgers were "minutes per side" but that there are no timers, so employees cooked the burgers for what they thought was 3 minutes. They also do not have thermometers to check if their burgers are done. Further, they do not have warming lights to keep parts of the meal warm while other parts are still cooking (ie it just sits out at room temperature). He said that he "suggested" they fix these things but nothing was required of the location.
