McDonald's provide a no cup policy where you provide the mug and they will charge you based on size . It will be a lesser charge and it helps the environment with using a reusable cup . Something I thought McDonalds was supportive of . Firstly at the drive thru , I let the McDonald's telecon person know that I had a cup with my order . They immediately told us that they didn't do this . When I explained that every McDonald's supports this policy , she took the order . When we got to the second window a women who looked like some sort of manager , was extremely rude and questioned what this cup situation was all about . When I tried to explain it to her with appropriate volume , she very rudely with a lot of attitude pretended she couldn't hear me and used the fireplace in the background as the reason . She closed the window after giving us what she thought was all of our order and when we didn't move , reopened the window and said "what?! " we told her we were missing things from our order, she handed it to us , didn't say sorry gave us attitude again and slammed the window shut . Every year we travel to Drumheller and for a tourist town you would expect the costumer service to be excellent ! This was embarrassing for someone who seemed to be a relevant staff to not know all of McDonalds policies and then to give the costumer attitude when they were just making them aware. Policies should be the same...
Read moreAfter a long drive in the car, passing through Drumheller, on our way to Saskatchewan, stopped to grab the kids a happy meal. We ordered 4 meals plus 2 happy meals. I thought we would grab the "free" coffees for the 4 adults, that were advertised. The lady at the till went back to the manager who refused to give us the free coffees, because I refused to haul my 90 year old grandparents out if the car for proof. I asked the lady if she thought I was eating all 6 meals ordered, all by myself. Not getting the coffee wasn't the issue, being treated like an idiot in front of people was my problem. She charged me for the coffees, which I asked for a refund for. They were annoyed, but I waited patiently. My mother came in and was helping me carry the massive amount of food ordered back to the car. She asked the lady for a glass for water, and the lady gave her a tiny little glass. She asked for a larger glass, and was also refused. Even offered to pay for the glass. I quickly told them we will go somewhere else for water. The manager and staff member proceeded to laugh to themselves about us in front of other customers. This experience was not only embarrassing, it was horribly rude, and one of the WORST customer service experiences i have ever had!! I will NEVER...

Most of my orders—about 98%—are done through mobile order, and it's a fantastic service. The app is easy to use, and while I still have to wait a bit for my food after arriving, the process is smooth and convenient. This has made grabbing my favorite meals even more enjoyable and hassle-free.
