Beware - this is a take your chances establishment. We stopped by while on a road trip. My daughter ordered the special which was cabbage rolls and perogies. I ordered a meal to share with my husband, which was a turkey wrap. Asked if it came with fries - was told no - but they have soup & salads, so I ordered the Greek.
First, the wrap was extraordinarily ORDINARY - could have bought a better one at Tim Hortons for much less. Secondly, the Greek salad cost almost as much as the wrap, got a little tiny bowl, half full with water, a single chunk of Feta cheese & the usual vegetables. Both were edible - but far from yummy or anything else possibly possitve
My daughter's meal was definitely delicious & plentiful. It upsets me to think that we overpaid for that salad & wrap. There should be some consistency in presentation, quality & quantity. Definitely feel like I paid $20.00 for $10.00 meal - plus they had limited choices for tips - 15% or up. Another 5 plus dollars wasted on a tip for what I consider a ...

Once a few tables had cleared the waitress suggest we move to a table further from door to avoid the cold breeze. Within 5 minutes of changing tables we were asked to leave our current table and return to our previous table because a larger group need our table. After being shuffled around a second time our food finally came out. The food was great, however the bottom line is the establishment was overcrowded, understaffed and poorly organized. We won't be returning a...
Read moreI had stopped once before for a coffee but decided to return for breakfast with a guest. We arrived just as breakfast ended but they accomodated us anyways. Eggs, toast, bacon & pancakes all good. More valuable was the small town diner feel & the pleasant staff. You can't get that at Tims or McDs. It feels really good inside to support local businesses where the money stays to grow the local economy instead of shovelling it to the US, EU or Brazil so they can grow their economy. Each $1 that stays in Alberta generates $5 in continued growth. Buy local & then relax, enjoy the ambience & feel what it was like when people were polite, happy & we all got along talking over coffee at the...
