From entering the door I was greeted by a server who probably should have stayed home that day. Walking in the door, to the right is the main pub. To the left a large room with tables for 4,6,&12. I was asked "how many", I said 1. I was then shown to this banquet type room with nobody else in it. To be clear, the other side did not have that many in it. Because sports, both Blue Jays and hockey playoffs are on, I asked if they play the games there. There were TVs up on the walls. The answer was "they are on the channel they're on and can't be changed.". Sorry I asked. I did watch a show on dogs riding lawn tractors and how to make a pizza that looks like a turtle. An extremely rude woman. Another younger server came in and I asked if I could move to the other side of the restaurant. She said "of course, we usually have a hard time getting people to sit on this side". (Then why on earth would you put someone, dining solo, in the large empty room?" I ordered wings (it's important to note, they were not on the appetizer section). I asked for an order of fries. I was asked if I wanted regular fries and I said yes. The fries were not regular, they had some sort of funny seasoning. Anytime you get wings that don't come with fries, "always" comes with some veggies like celery, carrots, etc. Never have I ordered wings, from a regular menu that come alone in a little bowl. The wings were decent, I couldn't scrape enough of the seasoning off the fries. But, this second server was a pleasant girl. I did see the first server I encountered, once I moved from the big empty room, I received a non-pleasant look. But in watching her, she was just a bad mood entity the whole time. (Maybe give her a day off to re-evaluate). Not a chance I'll go back, which is unfortunate.

We went to Frank and Gino's yesterday, and it was awful. We arrived at around 6:10pm. We were sat at a table and waited about 15 minutes for our server to ask about drinks/food. We waited until 7:45pm to get our food, that's an hour and a half after we ordered. Our server came once, but did not say anything about the wait or even offered us a refill on our drinks we had ordered an hour ago. We were getting annoyed with waiting, so we asked for our food for take out instead (we also had to go flag down a random girl as our server would not come near our table). They brought us over food and boxes instead of packing it up like we asked. They brought me a club sandwich with no bacon, that was dry and had obviously been on the warmer for at least an hour. My friend got alfredo pasta with "cheese baked on top" which cost an extra $4.00. Please see the comments for a picture of what we received. It was obviously just cheese put on top and throw into a microwave. At this point, I expected somewhat of a discount (our food is not properly made and we waited an hour and a half while the restaurant really was not that busy) but we were given nothing. We paid $45.00 for a dried sandwich not made properly and a pasta that looked disgusting. Once we got home with our take out, the food was so disgusted I ended up throwing it out.The sandwich was so dried out that it was not eatable. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Awful food and bad service. It was a huge waste of money and disappointment. Ended up going home nothing but angry knowing I had spent 40$ on food I was going to be able to eat. All together ruined my evening.

Overall good with some exceptions. The interior is well kept and nicely decorated with vintage goods. The layout is relatively well spaced with respect to seating. Prices are overall good for the portions and food. We ordered 2 mains one chicken Alfredo and a wrap combo. The pasta was spot on, good flavor, good portion, overall a well done dish. The wrap combo was a bit meh. The wrap itself was good, good filling bit a bit heavy on the Mayo. The soup was surprisingly bland given its pretty vibrant color. I couldn't tell what kind of base it was until I fished out some beef. The salad was well assembled and tossed but we did encounter an issue where we were seated without cutlery and it took the server a significant amount of time to return to ask for a fork to consume said salad. Another point there was a lot of sub menus around, along with the regular menu we had the specials menu, then to our side we had a seasonal lobster one, a "date night" menu, a drinks menu and a happy hour one, kind of a lot to look at.

From the moment we got this restaurant it was obvious we weren’t wanted. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 kids. We called ahead and made reservations so they knew we were coming. We got in the door and were greeted with “you know you have to wait”. We said we had reservations and were told rather rudely that we had to wait so give a number to call when the table would be ready as if they didn’t know we were coming. After about 30 minutes of waiting we checked to see if our table was ready and it was. So we were seated. The service was adequate. My daughter bussed our table as we were running out of room for things. There was a long wait and the food was not at all hot. It was warm. We came from Ottawa to visit family and this was our first and only visit to this establishment. We won’t be back. If they were short staffed, we would have understood. All they had to say was we are short staffed and the wait will be a little longer, rather than rudely assuming we dropped in with no notice and then treat us like a problem the rest of the time. They have a menu that had we ordered off of it, we wouldn’t have paid for the kids meals. That’s not a deal breaker if the rest of the stay went well, but given it wasn’t, it was another problem. We weren’t given that menu nor told about it until we were paying. This will be our last visit and would not recommend it. Being just at the end of a pandemic I don’t like to give a bad review. Unfortunately with this place it was well deserved on...
