Air conditioning and heating is truly a Seasonal thing here, it 100% follows the outdoor climate. HOT in the Summer & COLD in the Winter. All the excuses in the World and with that nothing is ever done. If they have this working at other store locations in Nova Scotia why not this one?? Flies will be out soon with little too no pest control in place.
Frustrating to say the least, orders are still a hassle with mistakes and attitude 80% of the time. If they make a mistake even if you get a copy of the slip ? Or send an order via phone or tablet they won't own up to it.
Prices have also gotten crazy, if you order 🥯 bagel (example) and peanut butter you get one pat of peanut butter and they want 75 cents for each one there after. God help ya if you need a glass of water to take meds they charge for the (plastic glass).
Drive thru makes so many mistakes the Department of Highways should have a refund booth where people going onto the highway 104 can DUMP Tim's orders and apply for a refund on their app (this is mainly the Albion Street facility) maybe the app should have a survey section that is monitored by head office as it's not much use complaining in house.
This being the lead store for Visitors coming into Nova Scotia you would hope to have a great experience!!!
PS Yes I am one of the people that frequents this place, hears the complaints and sees many of the customer interactions both...
Read moreOrder 4 items, 3 of which were wrong. Called to complain as we got it through the drive thru. Told can go all the way back to exchange after being blamed that they made what was on the screen so our fault for not noticing (the screen was correct. They made the items wrong). My husband got upset as his mother died this weekend so things are emotional and they hung up on him. Called back and was calm but irritated. The second person started getting condescending (these calls were recorded as it is legal in Canada to record calls under single party consent).
Then we tried calling head office customer service and was on hold for 55 mins before we hung up. The CRA wait times are less then that! Ended up sending an email so if this gets resolved well I may edit this review with a better score.
Customer service tips: 1 dont blame your customer when you make an item wrong. 2 if you want to calm someone down you dont antagonize them more. 3 dont expect people to not be upset when you suggest they come all the way back to your location without any othrr compensation then an exchange when you made straight off the menu items wrong especially when it is more then half the items where the total was almost $20.
This is why we switched to McDonalds across the street and if it wasnt for a partial gift card that needed to be used up we never would have gone as this type of service is more common then...
Read moreETA: we've had three instances where the lids were not on properly. Today the mishap caused a huge mess all over the front of my vehicle, and completely ruined my breakfast wrap. Aside from burning a part of my leg.
Cashier's are friendly most days, ordinarily fairly quick, popular location, but order accuracy is not always on point, 2/3 wrong orders in the last week, but it could have just been an off week, a little busier than usual
Edit since my last review.
My last two experience here have been awful. I recieved a faulty cup for my tea and was burnt when it fell all over myself and my vehicle, when brought to the cashiers attention they rudely asked what it was the replace it.
Secondly, their line is not clear, two open cashes should mean 2 lines, apparently it means one very confusing line, where you get skipped for whoever goes over to the other cash away from the line even though they keep insisting there's only one like. Making you wait almost 15 minutes for a simple order, when there was originally only 2 people ahead of you.
Highly DO NOT recommend this Tim Hortons. Drive the extra couple minutes to the Esso Tim's, totally worth it to not have to deal...
