McDonald's — Restaurant in Amherstburg

Wish I could give 0 stars.... Another order today on the mobile app is totally incorrect, and there have been many more previously since my last review of this location..... BK and Taco Bell can't open soon enough for more options.... Step it up peeps.

4yrs ago Earlier this week I went to one store on the way to work for breakfast and the staff forgot to put in the hashbrown. Reached out to the manager and they are giving me some coupons which is okay but not the point of this review.

This is the same week.

Today, I went for lunch on the way back home. Ordered a double mac combo with a large fry. As I waiting several minutes after pulling to the side for the fries, the kid brining out my food tells me it's a double mac with large fry. I took it and as I got home, it was a medium fry....

The lack of attention to detail is appaling. Check the tag. Check the bag before you hand it to the customer.... I should not need to check the bag everytime myself but I guess I'm going to need to from now on.

Really dissapointed being a long...

As disappointing as ever. I know I shouldn't fall for the marketing ploys but I did. The Carolina Angus looked beautiful on the menu board. My mouth watered as it scrolled round a few times as I waited to order food for the family. Without realising it I had ordered one and I thought to myself. "I know I shouldn't but it looks good, you deserve it" When it arrived on the table in the big hard cardboard box to protect this thing of beauty, I opened it up only to be greeted with a pathetic looking bun. Honestly I couldn't see anything but bun. Not the bursting open burger on the board. I opened the bun and it was not much better. Smallest amount of crispy onion, lettuce, pickle and sauce. Cheese and patty looked good in comparison and that's nothing to scream about.

Anyway lesson learnt again. Probably be another 5 years before I fall for the...

The quality of the food was normal. It was more of an issue of service.

The staff that was working all seemed to be doing their own thing with no one really in charge. I ordered a Greek salad for my wife making sure of what was in it before ordering. The girl at the drive thru failed to mention cous cous which is the one thing my wife couldn't have (my fault for not probing further I guess...)

When I got home I realized what happened and went back to have it fixed. It took a good 10 minutes to have it replaced, only to discover upon checking it (thankfully before I left this time) that they had now left the chicken off. The 2 kids up front were nice enough it just appears that this restaurant is lacking the proper leadership. Sadly there were 2 other people having similar issues in line next to me.
