Terrible experience. We ordered a happy meal for my daughter and we were told that we could either have a yoghurt or apple slices with her meal and we chose apple slices still thinking that she’ll get her chicken nuggets and fries. When we got to the window, we received the happy meal and we looked to make sure everything was correct only to find out that she had no fries and had both the yoghurt and apple slices instead. There was obviously some miscommunication, and we expressed that to the employee at the window. Another employee stepped in who I assumed was the manager, we explained to him about the miscommunication and how we wanted fries and the apple slices instead of the yogurt and he said that you can only get fries or apple slices which wasn’t what we were told at the cashiers window, we informed him that he should let the other employee at the cashiers window know at least because that’s not what we were told. Not good customer service in my opinion you could see he couldn’t be bothered to fix the situation and didn’t want to. The fries that I ordered for myself and overall quality of the food was very disappointing. We did tell the manager that the fries were not good, you could see that they were over cooked and reheated a few times only for them to be warm and crunchy when served. We asked for a fresh set of fries and you could see that he didn’t want to be bothered and after a long pause he agreed. We did order 3 sets of fries and only one of them was corrected and unfortunately even the new set of fries that we requested was the same. It was a $30 meal for my daughter and I only for majority of it go to waste as it didn't taste great. I won’t be coming back to this location for awhile as it was a huge disappointment and unpleasant experience with the miscommunication and especially...
Read moreWent in and ordered food for myself and my family on our way up island for a family adventure. Ordered my food and the young woman helping me was pleasant and cheerful. The blonde girl who was wearing a baggy, gross, non uniform grey hoody. She put my food on counter and I checked bag and was missing 2 sandwiches... well that's when it went to hell. She instantly snapped and became moody, snapping my bag up and rolling her eyes. I said if I was going to be treated rudely I'd like my money back to the cashier. That's when the one with the attitude piped up to her Co workers saying further rude things just loud enough for me to hear. When I asked for the franchise owners Co tact information or card I was denied. The shift manager, a quiet, younger lady with glasses motioned for me to the side door where she apologized for her employee and said that her employee was in the wrong and that she was sorry again. Not the resolution I would expect or want, but in today's age of people getting away with anything with little or no punishment I shouldn't be surprised. At least it was acknowledged... Won't be going back and will DEFINITELY spread the word to everyone I know and on social media to just go to a different McDs or next door to the Tim Hortons. Management should look at either hiring better employees or train them in...
Read moreHands down, the worst Mc Donald's that I've ever eaten at. Dirty washroom with a dried booger on the tile wall; news paper strewn on the front counter; unswept floors even though there were no patrons in at the time; their condiment station was unstocked, and the catch tray for the ketchup was full. The food was also the worst I've had at any of the franchises. The mighty Angus was flat and bland and missing the tomato. My wife received the wrong burger and when they gave her the correct one, it was also missing the tomato.
A sad excuse for a McD, we just laughed it off and assumed they were out of tomatoes. A family came in while we were eating, and I noticed the lady walk up to the mounted TV with the remote in hand and switch the channel, to which I had thought was the WWF channel. I made an educated guess that she was a frequent. Disclaimer: She was searching for the basketball game, and the WWF was just a commercial.
With so many young staff milling around, I was surprised that the location was not cleaner.
Ironically, I have to thank the manager and staff at this location b/c after my meal, I have decided that that was my final Mc Donald's meal. Anyone who wishes to free themselves but can't quite do it, I recommend that you visit...
