I recently had an amazing experience at Sushi Torii that left me in awe of their remarkable honesty. I would like to share this story with everyone, as it truly showcases the integrity of the staff at this wonderful establishment.
During my visit to Sushi Torii, I accidentally left my wallet on the table as I was leaving the restaurant. Unbeknownst to me, one of the attentive waiters noticed my forgotten wallet and quickly sprang into action. As I stepped out of the restaurant door, the waiter approached me, holding my money in his hands and returning the $100 that I had absentmindedly left behind.
This act of honesty and integrity from the staff at Sushi Torii touched me deeply. It is not often that we encounter such genuine and trustworthy individuals in our daily lives. The fact that the waiter took the initiative to locate me and return my money speaks volumes about the values and principles upheld by Sushi Torii.
Beyond this incredible display of honesty, I must also commend Sushi Torii for their exceptional service and delectable cuisine. The sushi and other dishes I enjoyed were prepared with the utmost skill and care, resulting in a truly memorable dining experience. The dedication of the staff to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident in every aspect of my visit.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sushi Torii to everyone seeking not only exquisite Japanese cuisine but also a dining experience rooted in honesty and integrity. This establishment has proven that they value their customers and are committed to going above and beyond to provide exceptional service.
To the staff at Sushi Torii, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for your honesty and for embodying the principles of integrity. Your actions have left a lasting impression on me, and I will undoubtedly return to enjoy the delightful food and impeccable service that you offer.
In a world where acts of honesty are often overlooked, Sushi Torii stands out as a shining example. Don't miss the opportunity to dine at this exceptional establishment and experience their outstanding cuisine and unwavering integrity.

Read moreMy favourite walk-in sushi place in the GTA, easily. Being a five minute walk away from my house is a plus to say the least. I've ordered here dozens of times at least.
Excellent quality of food when you order à la carte, and the AYCE is also very solid (when it's being served outside the pandemic). The staff is very capable and nice, with Eric in particular being one of the better waiters I've ever met. The service is consistently fast as well, unless they're swamped.
The menu is rather expansive for a casual restaurant. Their willingness to make certain things to order, such as squid hand rolls, is also very much appreciated.
The decor is calming and mellow, and it's a great place to unwind while you eat or wait for your things. You can steal the internet from Tim Hortons while you're there.
Really the only real strike against the place is that it's moderately pricey like most almost-but-not-quite expensive restaurants; expect a filling meal for 3 people to go for $100-$150. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't worth it though.
I've had them forget a small part of my order a couple times, but I was reimbursed the next time I went. There have also been a few times when my order had a rather lopsided rice-fish ratio for one thing or another, but that's the exception and not the norm, and the portions are usually rather generous.
9/10, definitely recommend. When the economy reopens I'd suggest you go out of your way to visit even if you're not from the...
Read moreCan't say anything about food, but horrible customer service. Called to check if I could reserve, they said they don't take reservations for valentine's. I asked if they had space for family with baby and they said YES they are not that busy right now. We arrived 25 minutes later. They were pretty full, with 1 table visibly empty. Server (guy) walks up to me and says that table is RESERVED. He points to a corner and says in a brisk manner "you can sit there" and walks away. The corner had NO table. He expected that family of 4 sit on a bench and 1 chair ??? I go up and after waiting and waiting (they were really understaffed) girl waiter comes to me and asked whether I had reservation otherwise says all tables full. Guy waiter again comes and just starts yelling "you have to wait. We are full. No tables, not my problem. You go outside and wait." I asked why they had said I couldn't reserve on the phone, but they had taken other reservations, just said they reserved before. Guy waiter was very very rude. Obviously didn't care about a family of 4 with 2 kids.
From the look of other people's tables they barely had food. I'm glad I ended up going elsewhere and received fast and...
