Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Aurora

Most of the staff were standing around and chatting. One person decided to be helpful and asked what I would like. I was the only one in line at 2:25 pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Anyway, the woman serving me wasn't completely familiar with the cash register so it took a few minutes to find the button for timbits (all I wanted was 20 timbits to take home for the kids). It came to $4.19 and I handed over a fiver. She took my money, put it in the drawer, then closed the drawer without giving me my change. She then saw that there weren't many timbits out and went in to the back. Another cashier then asked me to move aside as there were now 5 people in line. So I did. The woman returned from the back with my timbits. I left and when I got in my car I noticed I had received 20 chocolate timbits when I had requested assorted and there were three types in the display case, none of which were chocolate. It shouldn't be that hard....

I usually visited this location. Recently, I ordered my food, and as it was ready, a Muslim worker wearing a scarf called me and served it at my table with a beautiful smile. I was really amazed by the service. As I was eating, I needed some water, so I went to the cashier and asked if I could get a cup of water. A Filipino girl told me it would cost 10 cents, but I was out of money, so I went back to my table. A few seconds later, the Muslim girl brought me a cup of water with a beautiful smile again. After finishing my food, I saw an old man complimenting her for always smiling. After he left, I approached her and asked if she could call the manager so I could appreciate her in front of them for being such a sweet worker. However, she refused and said, it's my duty but I appreciate your encouragement. Since then I always visit this location. And I want to request other workers please learn from her and be a bit...

Always long lines…no matter you go early morning, or at 9 or 10 am or in late afternoon.. very slow service. If you know that you can’t handle long lines with limited staff then why don’t you hire more resources.This is my 5th visit to this location and I always have to wait for ~20 mins in long queue. People have to wait for so long to get coffee and you don’t get enough space to sit as well. they have very limited space even inventory is also very limited. I have seen many Tim Hortons busier than this who manage things very nicely but here they do not manage the things properly. How can you imagine to wait for half an hour in line to get only one coffee? Normally I’m very flexible in reviews. I wish I could...
