We stopped here for dinner after attending a plant and craft fair on Alberta Avenue. My son recommended it because they eat the Pho from here all the time. It's an unassuming building but when you walk in it actually has quite a few tables. It's very clean and has a cozy, quiet, light atmosphere. And the seating is quite comfortable.

The service was very fast and friendly. The menu has a large selection as would be expected from a Pho restaurant but it also has quite a few western dishes as well. Once ordered, your dishes arrive quite quickly and they are fresh and hot. And I love how they bring the ice water - a glass of water with ice along with a corked bottle of ice water.

We had Spring Rolls for an appetizer which we shared - they were very good and very HOT (as in temperature), I had the Queen's Special Vermicelli Bowl (chicken, beef, shrimp, spring roll and a fried egg) with accompanying fish sauce and peanuts. My companions had the Spicy Seafood Pho (hot and sour soup with lobster balls, fish tofu, imitation crab, and shrimp) and a Hamburger with Onion Rings. All were very good. The beef satay in the vermicelli bowl was amazing! The Onion Rings were tasty and not very greasy at all. We were all quite happy with our dinner.

For the 3 of us dinner came to just over $50 but the portion sizes are large - we took half the hamburger and onion rings home.

They sell t-shirts there which are pretty funny - and the proceeds go to an...

The BEST phò in Edmonton! Hands down! The ONLY place you should be getting your vietnamese fix! They recently updated their already stellar dining room to a very comfy and cozy space to enjoy soup, rolls, coffee, rice, etc. with friends, family, or maybe even a first date!

Phò King is owned and staffed by an amazing and caring family, who do great things for underprivileged children back in Vietnam. The name itself is great marketing, but they sell t-shirts and hats with their logo and slogans like "Phò King Delicious!" and "Phò King Boss!" (an indication of their sense of humour).

We have been enjoying Phò King since we moved to Edmonton, and keep going back for the friendly, professional service and consistently perfect dishes. Their faces are familiar and their attitudes are welcoming. They do dine and take out, so you can order ahead and grab the goodness to enjoy in the comfort of your couch, table, bed, or whatever, on those rainy, cold, blah days! Phò King is a staple in Edmonton's restaurant scene, and you'd have to be crazy not to give them a...

The food here are pretty good. Their Pho Soups have a lot of meat, nice broth, good portion. King/queen special rice were some of the best vietnamese rice plates I've had in Edmonton so far. Spring rolls are fresh and relatively big compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. However, their attitude towards customers is a little off-putting. Instead of admitting fault, they gaslight their customers on even the tiniest things. For example, I once ordered a takeout and I simply asked them if there's any utensils in the bag(there was a pile of takeout utensils right next to them). Instead of giving me the utensils, they gaslit and said I didn't ask for utensils to be included. 5 stars for the food, but 2 stars for service. These people just don't care about customer service. Atmosphere is alright compared to other vietnamese restaurants...

I ordered the grilled pork with spring roll on vermicelli as a take out item. It was a beautifully presented dish. They gave alot of food. The spring rolls were nice and crispy. I think the pork could be thinner. Some parts were thin, some thick. That is likely preference and my preference is thin. I don't like any fat on my meat. So this had a few visible pieces of fat. I think the meat was seasoned alot. It was a bit too strong for me. The vermicelli was on the thick side. Perhaps over cooked? I like the vermicelli dry and stringy where I pour fish sauce on it to moisten when I eat it. This wasn't that way. The vegetables were cut nicely and were super fresh. It's smart they put the peanuts in a separate container. I love peanuts but not everyone does. I found this place a bit expensive. My dish was $15.00. I'll try a different dish next time.

The place is ok, the satay soup was not really satay, it was like a regular spicy pho compared to other ones I’ve tried, did not enjoy the soup honestly, however the owner was very friendly and I liked that they have other menu options, like cheeseburgers for kids and the size was quite generous for a good price. The owner came out with freezie treats for my kids which of course was nice. We tried the desserts and they were amazing. Overall it was a very good customer experience but wouldn’t come back because I am a satay lover but this satay did not meet expectations.
